Hotels in Hoa Hai, Da Nang

We booked this resort mainly for the kid's waterpark/play area and were not disappointed. This is a HUGE, beautiful resort with 3 different kids' play areas. Check-In was easy and efficient. The bellboy took us to our room and gave us a tour of the room and how everything works. We wanted an extra bed and it was promptly brought over and set up for us. The staff are extremely friendly and always have a smile and greeting for you. Since it is kind of secluded and you need a car or taxi to go anywhere, it would have been nice if there were more restaurants within the resort. The food selections were quite limited throughout the resort with only room service or the beach restaurant providing meals. We didn't try the steakhouse but the room service and beach restaurant had good food. The kid's play areas were excellent. There is a kid's pool with a playground and water slide which our daughter thoroughly enjoyed. The surface of the play area is a kind of soft rubber but also porous so any water spillage would simply disappear and not stay gathered for someone to slip and fall. There is a second play area not listed on the hotel website with slides and climbing areas. I have enclosed a few photos of this area. There is also an indoor play area with 3 rooms consisting of a slide and small plastic balls, a games and toys room as well as a video game room. The beach is absolutely beautiful with soft fine sand and nice waves washing up on shore. There is plenty of chairs and loungers throughout the pool and beach area. the beach also has 2 soccer nets and a volleyball net. The infinity pool is very good and joins together to make a huge swimming pool extending all the way back to the main lobby area. The room is spacious with a nice bathroom, bathtub, and shower area. The sitting room has nice furniture as well as a balcony to enjoy the beautiful ocean views. The kitchen area has a sink, kettle, and 2 hotplates as well as a full-size fridge. The breakfast buffet was Excellent!! Very fresh food and a good variety. I would HIGHLY recommend this resort for a luxury, relaxing holiday destination.

The facilities and service were top tier and we had so much fun staying at Hyatt. We definitely recommend this stay to anyone who plans on visiting Da Nang. All the staff were very friendly and helpful even when we didn’t request any help. Thank you so much for an unforgettable and wonderful four days! Boasting a terrace, bar and views of city, The Shine Hotel Da Nang is set in Da Nang, 1.2 km from Bac My An Beach. The accommodation offers room service, a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange for guests. All guest rooms come with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, minibar, a kettle, a shower, free toiletries and a desk. Selected rooms also feature a kitchen with a fridge and a microwave. All units feature a wardrobe. Non Nuoc Beach is 1.2 km from the hotel, while Marble Mountains is 1.8 km from the property. The nearest airport is Da Nang International Airport, 12 km from The Shine Hotel Da Nang.

This is one of the best resorts on Da Nang coast line. The private beach is clean and beautiful. The facilities are top notch and the villas are amazing. The celing height is more than 12 feet which makes the villa airy. The private pool is the USP of this place. The water body running through the property is a nice touch. The best part is that the golf karts are easily available. Highly recommended for people travelling in groups. Only demerit is that the location is a bit away from main town. P.S. This place is a favorite among tourist from south korea.

Stayed for a week at the end of July. Having the beach at our doorstep was incredible. Some days, the waves and currents were too strong and swimming was not allowed. Be sure to check out the sunrise and get to the beach 30 mins before to witness a spectacular sight.

One of my best hotel experiences. The villa is fantastic, overlooking the sea and offers all the comforts you want starting with the private pool. Breakfast is amazing, with a wide selection of all kinds of food and drink, really excellent quality. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great position that allows you not only to enjoy the sea but also to reach nearby attractions such as the town of Hội An and the golden bridge. You’re gonna love every single thing in this hotel.

I stayed for 2 nights in Naman Retreat, and it was great time. Room was clean and the pools are well managed. Breakfast also was elegant. All the staffs were kind and especially, I feel special thanks to the staff whose name is Tam. It was check-in when I first met him and he explained all the details about facilities and programs. He kept in touch with me every day and checked any inconveniences or my trip plans. Even after check out, he helped me spend my last time in Danang more meaningful. I was so satisfied. Given a chance, I wish I could visit Naman again.

I enjoyed almost service and facilities from delicious breakfast to room, pool, staffs,…Breakfast was tasty and many choices. And if you stay in Level room, you could order something more from exclusive menu. Our room was spacious, closed to pool side which is also really relaxing. Since I met Ms Ha Manager a lot during my stay, I would like to say a few words. She was very proactive and accommodating, asking my plan and arranged hotel car for that, also advised restaurants when we was going to eat outside. She went extra miles to make sure your stay wonderful. The hotel location is between Danang and Hoian, not far distance. We did enjoyed a great time, even my husband wanted to change the flight and extend the stay here. I am planning to visit this place next trip and bring my family here. Definitely!

The overall environment of the new hotel is okay, but the service details need to be improved. I remember that I still didn’t wake up after nine o’clock the next morning, so the hotel called me to ask if I wanted breakfast! 😳I understand that the hotel wants to be enthusiastic about its customers, but this will affect their rest! continue to sleep Then, after 11 o'clock, the hotel called again to remind us to get our room card and refresh it. I got up again and ran to answer the phone (I had a room with a swimming pool, and the phone in the room was not beside the bed, but in the dining room, so I was very annoyed every time I answered the phone). There were some problems with this design and it was inconvenient. When I returned to the hotel after drinking in the early hours of the second night, I specifically called the front desk to tell me not to call me that night as I needed to sleep. I have a flight at 5pm and I need to delay check-out until 2pm! The front desk asked me to apply, but I said there was no problem, but please do not call the room before 12 o'clock! Unexpectedly, around 10 o'clock, the front desk called again and said that I could delay my check-out until 2 o'clock. I was a little unhappy for a moment! Because he disturbed my sleep again. 20 minutes later, I got up again and walked over to answer the phone. The hotel called again to see if the rental motorcycle key had been returned to the front desk. I had already left it at the front desk the day before. I was really angry! I understand the hotel's original intention to provide better services, but the service details need to be improved. Contact the replacement training team! This does not look like the management of a five-star hotel! Also, let’s talk about the room environment. The room is okay, but the design of many locations is unreasonable There is no trash can in the bathroom. The trash can is placed in the toilet, and the toilet paper is fixed at the very back. It is very inconvenient to take the paper. I just mentioned that the room type I stayed in did not have a phone beside the bed, which was inconvenient. The elevator looks like a freight elevator and is completely undecorated. This is the first time I've seen the lights in the lobby at night being white, not warm. It didn't look like a hotel last time. In general, the service is warm, but the details are not taken care of. Hope there will be changes next time!

My suite was G2. It was around 350~400 per night. The Pleasantries: The Outdoors: The public pool was a sight to behold, and the proximity to the beach was most convenient. One could spend a rather enjoyable afternoon by the pool, sipping a fine beverage and overlooking the ocean. Privacy and Convenience: The villa provided a good level of privacy, and its location offered convenient access to both the Da Nang city centre and the charming town of Hoi An. Staff Deportment: Though understaffed, the personnel conducted themselves in a professional manner, and their handling of complaints was quite civilized, I must say. The Unpleasantries: Absence of Amenities: It was most disconcerting to find that the rooms were bereft of televisions and that the air conditioning system was inoperative. For the rate of 400 USD per night, one would reasonably expect these basic amenities to be in good order. Inefficient Procedures: The necessity of waiting for staff to check in and out was an irksome inconvenience that could have easily been avoided with proper staffing or organisation. Disrepair: The villa exhibited a rather rundown appearance, with appliances in various states of disrepair. The fan, the hair dryer – all seemed to have seen better days. Design Inconsistencies: The logic of the design was puzzling indeed. Providing but one cup, yet two sets of toothbrushes, left us quite perplexed. The safe was curiously placed atop the closet, and the water pressure was disappointingly weak. Furniture: I would be remiss not to mention the furniture, which appeared rather worn and past its prime. In Conclusion: Ocean Villa, despite its appealing location and outdoor amenities, fell short of the expectations one might associate with a venue at this price point. Whilst I extend my sincere appreciation to the staff for their professionalism, I cannot in good conscience endorse this accommodation without significant improvements. Though our stay was not entirely without merit, the aforementioned shortcomings led us to seek a refund for one of our nights. It is my earnest hope that Ocean Villa might address these issues, for the potential for a truly splendid getaway does indeed exist.
