Bad hotel, we killed 3 cockroaches before sleeping. Cleaning on the room is really bad, reception is non-friendly.

Not sure how we booked this as usually do a lot of research. Worst hotel ever stayed in. No air con in reception or room. Cash only for stay. Several steps high and no help with luggage. No air con in room, they turn it off if you are out and it takes ages to cool down. Fridge - supposed to keep “cool” not cold. Doesn’t do either. Don’t understand why they provide water which is chargeable yet provide free bottle per person each day. Triple room booked but only enough for 2. Bathroom quite cramped with corner shower and window into bedroom. Who wants to see into the bathroom?!?! Forget sea view. No lift from L10 to L12 where the pool is - stairs only. No shade there and no one even there to oversee or provide towels. Breakfast - not included and we paid in cash. First day literally slices of bread and toaster as only offering à la carte for a few days - wasn’t told that at reception. Got refund and went to Olive & Vine a few doors down instead. Not a lot around the area, a few mini marts and beach is 5 mins walk. There are building works going on around the area and right opposite the hotel so very noisy as windows are single Glazed and walls are paper thin. Only 5 rooms per floor so lift is always near you and noisy with kids running around. Reception has no customer service skills - have to ask for everything- even toilet roll as they don’t like to refill if they can help it! No luggage room so can only leave in open reception area. Makes our HCMC Hotel feel like 4 star now!

The room was clean and well stocked. The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough to help. The pool was clean and whilst there was an issue with the step into it, the staff were onto it. The views from the roof were awesome. We had a great time, we were close to many restaurants and the beach.
