Worst than a 3 star hotel! An absolutely disgraceful and misleading 5 star resort and hotel. Currently staying in one of their 4 bedroom villas, with my opinion based on changing villas twice, in hopes that it would be better…How wrong.
Description of the resort on their website states “it was completed in 2024, however the villa is extremely run down. Damages on the walls and doors, patch work, unpainted surfaces throughout the entire villa were just a few disappointing factors that attributed to the villa’s poor condition. Further, all three showers were leaking through seals, ultimately flooding the bathroom floors. Additionally, with each bathroom holding their own Independent water heaters, this meant bathrooms were not capable of holding hot water pressure, with shower water temperatures turning cold halfway through usage. When notifying the hotel about this issue, management advised to have
“quick showers, waiting up to 10 minutes between usage, in order to allow the water to reheat”.
Furthermore, in over my 20 years of travelling, I have never witnessed a 5 star resort that fails to provide such basic amenities in their rooms. To name a few : no coffee machine (only 3in1instant coffee supplied), no bins in room (only bins in bathrooms), no iron or ironing board (we called guest services and was informed they only have 10 ironing sets for the entire resort), no insect repellent adapter (was informed they have not got onto this yet) and no amenities provided for a full kitchen. (e.g., bowls, cutlery, cups).
Reflecting on another incident during our stay, the weight scale in our villa shattered upon getting on (83kg male). Informing house keeping of the situation, staff came to sweep up glass, however when asked if they could also use vacuum as we have children, we were told the vacuum was “too weak”. and that sweeping was the best they could do. As a result, we had to resort to no walking around
our villa bare foot, with thongs and shoes on for the duration of stay.
Additionally, Breakfast is a fight for survival! You are greeted upon entry before being told to find your own vacant table like in any food court . Some Beverages were not filled, benches not wiped down etc. very low quality and food options.
Moreover, there is vacant land right next door, with rubbish being burnt every morning. These heavy fumes carry into the resort, leaving a polluting atmosphere.
It’s also to note, The pool as advertised is no more than a plunge pool. There is no privacy and with the way the villas have all been built, there is basically no sunlight.
Concluding, Please don’t waste your money and be cheated by the misleading advertisement and description of this hotel.
Clearly the 5 Star rating was either bought through corruption or independently given through a third party. This property is no more than a 3 Star rating.
