M Hotel Danang

I'm writing this review to warn future guests about my experience at this hotel. Stay cautious if you're thinking of booking. 1. Upon check-in, I immediately felt something was off when I saw earplugs on the nightstand. My suspicions were confirmed: there are several construction sites nearby, and work starts around 7 AM every day. The noise from renovations and construction made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. 2. On the second morning, about an hour and a half after two female housekeepers cleaned my room, a male staff member knocked and immediately swiped his card to enter. I was in the middle of changing clothes and had no time to react. Once I realized what was happening, I quickly wrapped myself in a towel and asked him in English what he was doing. He pretended not to understand and spoke to me in Vietnamese. I immediately called the front desk and asked them to check the surveillance footage to find out why this male employee entered my room. Fifteen minutes later, a floor attendant brought a fruit platter and told me in English that he might have been there for housekeeping. I explained that: 1. He wasn't carrying any cleaning tools. 2. My room had just been cleaned over an hour ago. The attendant then said he might have been there to replace something. I told the floor attendant to take the fruit platter back and informed her that I needed a formal explanation. I asked her in English if male staff members are allowed to enter guest rooms alone, and she said no. The hotel later stated that they had given the male employee a warning. Fearing retaliation, I contacted the hotel twice more to ask if they had made any adjustments to ensure my safety during my stay, but to no avail. The hotel only offered a 30-minute foot massage voucher and a one-hour late checkout. The spa voucher and an apology letter from the hotel were brought to me later. As soon as I left the hotel, I filed a complaint with Trip.com. I have audio recordings of my entire communication with the hotel.

I highly recommend this hotel. The environment is lovely, and it's just across the road from the beach. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and they even have afternoon tea during your stay. The design is great, and there's a bathtub too. If you ever go to Da Nang, you should definitely experience this place! There's a supermarket and souvenir shop downstairs, and it's very convenient to the airport. I stayed for three days, and it was excellent!
