"We loved this hotel as the location is beautiful with a fantastic view over the blue sea and the clear water. The little beach is protected which means, you can only go to sea for snorcheling which is fantastic as this hotel makes a big contribution to keep the seaworld as much protected as possible. Who does not like this or wants a place to swim and play in the water should choose another ressort. The rooms are beautiful and the food in both restaurants are delicious with a fantastic Italian focus. The manager Andrea is always there and you can see that he is putting all his effort in this wonderful resort. We had two dinners at the restaurant and really had excellent dishes. We will come back!"
Blue Corals Beach Resort
"One of the worst places I’ve stayed. Stained sheets, bugs all over the place. Broken Fixtures and fittings, very little storage room, shower that sprayed needles of water in lots of different directions. Seemingly incompetent staff who handed out rooms without first checking bookings meaning we couldn’t get in the room we booked and paid for. Management seemed uninterested in sorting it and gave the burden of responsibility to the receptionist who came to the reception when called by manager in night attire. We had to ask for a 2nd bedsheet in order we could both be covered at the same time during the uncomfortable nights sleep. We moved out into a different hotel after staying only 1 night. For balance, I expect this room would suffice for a few nights if you were a single backpacker looking for shelter on a budget"

"The boat to Mama Island was temporarily closed, and this is the only hotel near the pier that can be booked Most of the people in the resort hotels are locals. There are not many choices for food. The taste is OK but the price is a bit high. Take a tutu to Maya Pier for 100 per person. The facilities are relatively old, and the air conditioner is manual, hahaha"

"The rooms were dirty and full of mosquitoes, there was hair in the bathroom, and you could hear a lot of noise from the rooms next door, it smelled damp and it has closed, choose another hotel to stay at because this one is not worth it at all, if you book here you will regret it"
Slam's Garden Dive Resort
"Overall ok stay, the staff were super kind there was a couple problems with the problem but they were quick to fix! Pool is nice, and location is great. One thing that really annoyed me is that because we didn’t book the diving with the resort (we didn’t know prior to booking that the resort was a diving resort) they wouldn’t make our breakfast early like the other guests had. Literally other guests were picking their breakfast for a 4am start I thought great! I’ll do the same, and then the dive coordinator Santiago was incredibly rude, and declined as if he was running the place. Very rude, I wouldn’t even consider booking a diving trip with this resort because of this man! Zero customer service or friendliness which is a shame because the local staff were so nice!"
Buena Vida Resort and Spa
"One block from Bounty Beach, very cozy, bedrooms with terraces. Very "Yoga" style, good vibes, etc. We liked that it has a good gym and also for doing calisthenics. Buffet breakfast included but we had to go to Ocean Vida (3 min walk to Bounty Beach). First breakfast they give us Mango. The key comes with the keychain for the electricity so when you take out the key the bedroom is left without electricity and therefore without AC, but we understood this due to the fact that we are on a smaller island. 24h Loundry 150PHP/Kilo. There are also massages from 600 to 2000 PHP."

"The hotel was right on the beach and had a dive shop with a nice restaurant. The room was cute with really nice toiletries and a deck area to sit on. Overall, I enjoyed the stay there. What's not mentioned is that there are no roads going to the hotel, the bikes will only take you half way down an alley but then the sand is too deep for them to travel on. You have to walk through sand for the last 200m to the hotel itself."

"Awful place to be in! By far, THE WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. I give credit to where it's due, so here are my thoughts about this property. Pros: - beachfront - affordable room with AC - each room has a terrace Cons: - the male owner EAVESDROPPED in our conversation and made unnecessary comments. He is renowned on the island for being UNKIND. Yes, you may own the hotel, but you DO NOT OWN the beach! - small rooms, really cramped, and outdated is an understatement - ugh, don't let me start with the bathrooms We are respectful travelers and we have no idea how our stay here ended on such a sour note. This place does NOT deserve anything. Thinking about our experience just makes me feel angry. NEVER AGAIN! "
