"We regularly host windsurf coaching clinics at Dakhla Attitude, welcoming students from all over the world and it never disappoints. The on-water conditions are consistently excellent, but what really makes the experience special is the atmosphere back at the hotel. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable - exactly what you need after a full day on the water. The real highlight is the vibe: being surrounded by like-minded, active people creates a fantastic energy, especially in the bar and restaurant areas where everyone comes together in the evenings. The food is varied and enjoyable, with themed buffet options throughout the week. There’s always plenty of choice, and everything is fresh and well-prepared. A personal highlight is the freshly grilled fish available at lunch, definitely something to look forward to. The hotel also offers a wide range of excursions and activities, from surfing and downwinders to desert safaris, making it easy to add extra adventure to your stay. Everyone is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely motivated to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. A special mention goes to Saad, the gym coach, whose encouragement and expertise really add value for anyone looking to stay active off the water. We spent most of our time windsurfing with the Freak Windsurf Centre based at the hotel, and the setup couldn’t be more convenient. Direct lagoon access and reliable side-shore winds make it an ideal spot. During low tide, the team are great at organising trips to Dakhla’s famous speed spot, an unforgettable experience blasting across perfectly flat water with the Sahara dunes as your backdrop. If the tide and winds are right you should jump at the opportunity. A big thank you to Hannes and the entire Freak Windsurf team for helping make our stay so memorable. If you’re looking for a watersports destination with incredible conditions, a welcoming atmosphere, and a comfortable place to stay, this is hard to beat. We’re already looking forward to coming back!"

"This hotel is new and has potential. The good - food was delicious. It is a set menu every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner - rooms were clean. the woman who cleans does an amazing job - common areas had great wifi. we were able to work and do zoom calls with zero problems - hotel is cute. nice decorations and homey feeling - the service. the hotel staff is very kind and friendly - location is perfect for kite boarding. the main activity here is kiteboarding, wingfoiling, etc What could be better - the walk from the rooms to the bathroom is all sand it is impossible not to get sand in your room after a shower. a stone path or some type of path would be wonderful - the rooms - please install some hooks as it would be useful for wet towels. a mirror in the room would also be wonderful as well as some additional storage space - the food is difficult for anyone who has celiac or does not eat bread. I would have liked a bit larger or portions or a second option for lunch/dinner in case I did not like pasta or whatever was on the menu that day."

"Clean, but that’s about all. Tiny bathroom with weak shower pressure and often cold water. No drinking water provided (for US60 a night?). One of my first experiences that a hotel doesn’t provide drinking water. If you arrive on the 1am flight, good luck finding somewhere to sell water when you arrive. Hotel neighbourhood is a construction site."
