Michelia Valley Hotel

This orange-colored guesthouse is tucked away on a steep, uphill road, making it very quiet and peaceful, far from the main thoroughfare. I chose an attic room with a small window. There's no air conditioning, but it wasn't needed at all as the evenings in the mountains were quite cool. There's a lovely coffee shop right outside. Most importantly, the pure cotton bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable to lie on! I slept wonderfully. The host was very kind and tried hard to communicate with me about my itinerary, offering help and suggestions.

The cheapest room is an attic room, with the second sleeping area quite close to the ceiling. However, I found it comfortable as a solo traveler. The room offers a valley view, and it's perfect for those seeking nature and an escape from the noisy city. My only minor suggestion for convenience would be a shelf for the kettle closer to a power outlet (perhaps where the fan is plugged in) or the provision of an extension cord.
