Amory Dalat Hotel

Quiet and highly recommended hotel. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained, with excellent cleanliness. Good location in a quiet area. It has motorcycle parking, which is a big plus. The breakfast is decent and sufficient. A very good experience overall.

On my first day, I checked into the best suite at this hotel. The kitchen had a leak, but the staff immediately took care of it, and their attitude was excellent. Overall, the environment was pretty good, and it offered great value for money. However, when showering, the drain in the bathroom was very slow, causing the entire bathroom floor to flood, and my feet were completely submerged. Also, Da Lat has significant temperature swings between day and night, and none of the rooms have air conditioning. It was truly freezing at night, and the duvet wasn't enough to keep warm. The elevator space is tiny; two people and two suitcases crammed it full. At one point, I left some belongings in the hotel lobby. I tried calling the hotel countless times using the number on the room card but couldn't reach the front desk. Every call went to the hotel management, and it took contacting about 5 or 6 different people to finally get through to a front desk staff member. Their communication attitude was very good, though. For breakfast, there's only one option: chicken pho and coffee. I stayed at this hotel for four days and had chicken pho for breakfast every single day, which honestly almost made me gag, haha. It might be a new hotel, so there are many areas for improvement. There are plenty of food and drink options around the hotel. It's located in the city center, making it very convenient to get anywhere. All in all, I'd still recommend it, especially considering the price.

Good for business trips.

We only stayed for one night. The rooms were nice, the furniture was new, but there were some issues: the balcony was tiny, the curtains were moldy, and the bathroom drain wasn't working properly, with the drain system causing water to spill all over the floor. But the biggest bummer was that when we got to our room, the door was open (as in all empty rooms). We walked in, and a man came out of the bathroom, who, it turned out, had been taking a leak in there. It was in our room, which was supposed to be clean and ready for guests, not smelling like someone's poop, sorry. Another issue: the driveway to the parking lot was so narrow that we barely managed to drag our motorcycles, Yamaha MT03 and R3, through.

Everything was great, the staff was very welcoming, and they even offer motorbike rentals. The only downside is that it's noisy at night due to the road, but if you have earplugs, it's not a problem. Overall, I recommend this place! Definitely rent a motorbike and explore the area!
