The 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows offer unparalleled views, allowing you to privately enjoy stunning sunsets and night views right from your bed. The beautiful courtyard water feature is a highlight, and they thoughtfully provide complimentary afternoon tea. The location is superb; it's just a 10-minute walk to the ancient town, and Nanzhao Style Island and the Sun & Moon Palaces are only a bit over 10 minutes away. The specialty rice noodles for breakfast are incredibly authentic. What's more, the butler service is exceptionally attentive – they offer pick-up and drop-off at the intersection and help with luggage, making everything completely hassle-free.

This was by far the worst stay I've ever had in Dali. First, despite the hotel claiming a 2023 renovation, the room decor looked nearly a decade old. The promotional photos were completely misleading compared to the actual rooms. The hotel's cleanliness was terrible. The breakfast, which required a voucher, was extremely basic and I wouldn't recommend it. The only redeeming feature was the excellent shuttle service.

The location of this hotel is truly excellent, nestled right by Erhai Lake. You can quietly enjoy the beautiful lake views from the hotel, making it perfect for relaxation and unwinding. The front desk service was exceptionally thoughtful; they not only provide shuttle services but also recommend itineraries tailored to your needs, and the staff are incredibly friendly and approachable. What's more, it offers fantastic value for money – you get a stunning front-row lake view experience at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

An absolutely wonderful experience! The scenery is stunning, and you can hear the soothing sounds of Erhai Lake. The sunset views are absolutely breathtaking! The owner is incredibly welcoming and hospitable, and even offered us a complimentary room upgrade. Breakfast and afternoon tea were also provided. They even offer a photography experience, and the photographer's skills are truly top-notch! Highly, highly recommend!

The views from the outdoor restaurant were absolutely stunning; I honestly could have stayed there all day! I loved spending my mornings just unwinding in the back garden, enjoying breakfast or afternoon tea while soaking in the beautiful surroundings. It felt like pure bliss. What's more, it offers exceptional value for money!

The evening atmosphere at Wangshu Courtyard is absolutely fantastic! It's located near Erhai Lake, so you can fully take in the stunning lake and mountain views during the day. In the evenings, they sometimes have live singers, and their songs, carried by the Erhai breeze, create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Whether you're having a small get-together with friends or on a family trip with kids, you're sure to have a wonderful time.

Both the facilities and service at Wangshu Courtyard are outstanding! The rooms were impeccably clean and spotless, with all amenities well-appointed and user-friendly. The breakfast spread offered a fantastic variety of delicious options, and the afternoon tea was of excellent quality. Enjoying it in the courtyard right by Erhai Lake was pure bliss, leaving me feeling utterly content.

I made a special trip to Dali at the very end of summer, finally getting to stay at a guesthouse I've had my eye on for ages! Whenever I visit Shuanglang, I always make sure to spend a few days here first – the water is clearer, and it's a bit less crowded. This guesthouse is built right along Erhai Lake, offering stunning lake views from both the rooms and the terrace! And the little garden is just beautiful! They even have live music in the evenings, making a stay here for a few days incredibly relaxing.

The guesthouse was very quiet and offered both breakfast and afternoon tea. A particularly thoughtful gesture was when we returned at 6:30 PM, drenched from the rain, knowing afternoon tea was scheduled to end at 7 PM. We spoke to the owner, explaining we needed to take a hot shower, and they kindly set aside some afternoon tea for us. We then sat by Erhai Lake, appreciating the evening scenery. Although the rain meant there was no sunset, gathering with a few friends to chat, drink tea, and listen to the sounds of Erhai Lake was utterly relaxing and enjoyable!

Open your window to Cāngshān Mountain views, and drift off to sleep listening to Erhai Lake. This secluded courtyard, with its white walls, grey tiles, and natural wood accents, offers a true escape. Wake up to the soft kiss of dawn, and fall asleep under a canopy of stars and moonlight. It's a divine sanctuary where time truly slows down. Every room features a private balcony offering breathtaking views. Just open your window to reveal a custom, postcard-perfect panorama of Cāngshān and Erhai. The top-floor glass terrace serves as a 'Sky Mirror,' seemingly suspended above Erhai Lake. The days here are as gentle as still water, and the nights as romantic as poetry.

What a gem I found in Dali Shuanglang! This 270° lake-view guesthouse, Wangshu Courtyard, truly brings the sunset right to your window and instantly melts away all your stress. Imagine sitting there in the evening, feeling the gentle breeze as you watch the sunset paint the water in orange hues – every casual photo you snap becomes a cinematic masterpiece. As night falls, the shimmering lake, sprinkled with distant lights, is so utterly therapeutic you'll want to linger there all night. The location is also super convenient! You can walk to Nanzhao Island, Sun Palace, and Moon Palace in just over 10 minutes, so there's no need to worry about transportation. Despite its proximity to attractions, the guesthouse itself is wonderfully quiet, a true escape from the city's hustle and bustle. With luxurious amenities, your stay will be exceptionally comfortable. Plus, there's a private garden perfect for afternoon tea or coffee, and even enjoying a relaxed evening drink – the ultimate holiday ritual. Truly slowing down here helped me genuinely appreciate the beauty of Dali. I'll absolutely be returning to Shuanglang and staying here again!

The staff were incredibly welcoming and offered a very convenient shuttle service. Even though parking in the old town can be tricky, they arranged for the most affordable parking lot and transported us with an electric cart. The hotel is situated right by the water, and enjoying breakfast riverside with the breeze blowing was absolutely delightful.

Its location in Shuanglang, right by Erhai Lake, is unparalleled, boasting one of the most spectacular lake views among all guesthouses. While the exquisite surroundings are captivating, the service truly sets this place apart. The guesthouse host even came to pick us up from outside Shuanglang Commercial Street, and their service was impeccable. They generously upgraded our room for free, which featured a bathtub on the balcony and offered absolutely breathtaking views. This might have been because we also stayed last year. What a wonderful experience! We definitely plan to return next year for a longer stay if the opportunity arises!
