The hotel was very nice, clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. We were very impressed with the service and hotel itself. Hotel located in walking distance to ancient town and restaurants. We would definitely come back and recommend to our friends and family.

The ambiance was wonderful. Upon arrival, the staff were incredibly helpful, even coming out to the alley to assist with our luggage. Complimentary afternoon tea and coffee were also a lovely touch. The team is available 24/7 and truly dedicated to their service. I would absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit! We even received a thoughtful farewell gift upon departure.

The hotel is conveniently located near the North Gate of the Old Town. Taxis are readily available, and after exploring the Old Town, you can easily walk back. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride to Longkan Pier and even closer to Caicun Village, roughly 10 minutes away. The hotel facilities are generally quite new, and the rooms are spotless. WARNING: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! Over 430 a night and you won't get a wink of sleep. Facilities: The refrigerator and bathroom fan are incredibly noisy, not quiet at all!!!!!!!! I had to unplug them in the middle of the night. The fan is directly opposite the next room's air conditioning unit, making it unbelievably loud!!!! I originally booked two nights but checked out after just one. The bed is a mattress on a wooden board, which was actually quite comfortable. However, the wooden board sticks out quite a bit, and the aisle is so narrow that I stubbed my toe and made it bleed!!! Breakfast consisted of pre-made steamed buns, boiled eggs, pickled vegetables, soy milk, and tasteless rice noodles!!!!! There was even a huge fly in my rice noodles – I was speechless. The welcome snacks were winter jujubes, longans, flower cakes, and Sachima. It felt like they just rummaged through some old, random bits and pieces to put it together. It was somewhat acceptable, I guess, but they really need to improve, or perhaps just close down! 24/7 Butler Service: Non-existent. The front desk staff seemed completely clueless, couldn't answer a single question. If this person is just a temporary employee, I'd say the owner is definitely losing money.

My friends and I absolutely loved this guesthouse and stayed for 3 consecutive nights. The host was incredibly hospitable, quite handsome, and very patient. On our first day, he even helped us with our heavy luggage, which was super helpful. Complimentary drinks were always available, with the fridge fully stocked. The in-room projector even came with free VIP streaming access. Breakfast was also delicious and very healthy. The guesthouse is conveniently located near Dali Ancient City, and within a short walk, you can find very affordable vehicle rentals. We rented e-scooters to visit Erhai Lake's Longkan Pier. Nearby, there are also places to rent clothes (for photoshoots), which were all very affordable, and the staff were very friendly! This place is perfect for younger travelers. The ambiance is fantastic, truly great for traveling with kids – mine absolutely loved it! The cleanliness and facilities are first-rate. Even the hairdryer was excellent, drying my hair in no time.
