Discovery·Between Mountains and Waters｜Designer B&B (Dali Ancient Town Foreigner Street Inn)

Right inside the ancient city, just step out and you're on the busiest street. The room was super clean. I even took off the pillowcase and it was spotless, I slept so well. The bed and duvet even had a subtle, pleasant scent. I'm a bit of a germaphobe, but I slept directly on the bedding without putting anything down, and it was incredibly comfortable. The auntie (host) was also fantastic; she met me at the door and contacted me the day before. She also provided a guide, the address, and lots of recommendations for delicious food. Thumbs up!

The owner is so welcoming and hospitable! The check-in instructions were incredibly detailed and thoughtful, which was a huge relief for me traveling with two kids. They even upgraded us to a family suite! The hotel's location is perfect, right next to Foreigner Street, making it super convenient for food, entertainment, and visiting attractions like the Three Pagodas. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

Facilities: The hotel facilities are all very complete. Hygiene: It's also exceptionally clean. Environment: The environment is especially good, and this little courtyard has a really nice vibe. Service: The service is absolutely, incredibly, unbelievably good! I especially love the auntie and uncle here. We arrived quite late, and on the first night, they stayed up late to pick us up and make sure we were settled before going to sleep. They also sent us recommendations for itineraries and routes to explore. The room was clean and comfortable, the heating was ample, and the bathroom was also spotless. Most importantly, the auntie was constantly helping us out. I'm incredibly grateful! I highly recommend everyone to stay at this guesthouse; it's genuinely, truly, really great. And the location is super convenient too. It's easy to go out for a stroll or visit Erhai Lake. Especially for finding food or taking walks. All in all, I highly, highly recommend it!!
