Recommended place to stay in Dali Old town. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. We got upgraded (without us asking for) from the double basic room we booked on trip.com to a different one because of work happening next to the initial booked room. This was very much appreciated. The staff also helped carry our luggages up and down the few entrance steps (there’s an elevator inside the hotel). We also got a voucher to try free ethnic dresses we could use at the hotel shop. It was fun and entertaining given the hotel’s decoration. Breakfast is a self service buffet with coffee, tea, eggs, fruits, toasts, etc but you can also order bow of noodles from the reception. Hotel was very well decorated and in line with the website pictures (no filter which is quite rare for China!). Loved the peaceful and relaxing vibe. Hotel is not easy to find as it’s in a narrow street 5min from main street and not accessible by car however staff provided us clear indications before our arrival. It’s very well located : few minutes from night market and 15min walk from old town gate. We enjoyed this very nice hotel.

We really liked this place! The staff was super helpful. I have some problems with my hip and the thought the mattress was quite firm, the guy from the desk came immediately with someone to flip the mattress and fix some extra blankets to make it softer. They are breaking down/building next to the hotel so there was a lot of noise coming from there. They changed our room to a quieter place which was very kind! We loved the location, a bit more outside the busy area of Dali and the market behind the hotel was a local fruit market which we enjoyed a lot!

The location is very good. Convenient for walking around to shop and eat. Ask reception for good restaurant recommendations nearby. Clean. Staff is helpful. Pillow and beds are so so.. ok. Has lift. No bell boy service. Breakfast is poor. We stay for one night only. I like Location 👍. Not noisy. Hotel is very beautiful, especially when the night lights are ON. Can be cheaper if you book early a bit. 8.5 out of 10.

The view is so so nice and beautiful. Staff is very good and polite. The hotel is very unique and comfortable. Very clean and tidy too. Definitely recommended. 👍👍👍

This hotel is absolutely amazing! Beds are comfortable, location is good (just outside the old town) and the interior is just as pretty in real life as it looks on the pictures. Would recommend!

There is a 24-hour desk service that is extremely helpful. The center courtyard pond area is beautiful both at night and in the day, and the ancient clothing amenities were quite a cool perk! Quite enjoyed the stay.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location and very helpful staff, I had many deliveries to the hotel whilst there and they handled them very well.

This charming inn is nestled close to the ancient town, and its interior design is quite distinctive. While the rooms are on the smaller side, enjoying afternoon tea by the tranquil courtyard fish pond, watching the fish, is incredibly relaxing. The hotel service is exceptionally attentive. Moreover, its proximity to the ancient town is a huge plus, and the bustling food street nearby offers a fantastic array of culinary delights.

the hotel is beautiful both in the common areas and in the room itself. the room is spacious and the toilet is huge. we got an upgrade during our stay. hotel has an life so no worries about handling your luggage. there are a lot of food options nearby and it is just off the street from the old town. about 15min walk will get you to the main old town spot. the breakfast was delicious. a selection of cooked food and you can order noodles at the main desk. simple afternoon tea with a light snack. we did not get to use the hanfu experience but it is a nice bonus.

The outdoor environment is absolutely stunning and perfect for photos, and the interior decor is also quite pleasing. Staff offered pick-up/drop-off service, and freshly prepared rice noodles and other noodle options were available for breakfast. However, the bathroom was a significant letdown. The shower area surprisingly only had a curtain for separation, and the toilet also left much to be desired. This truly dragged down the overall experience and negatively impacted my overall rating.

My sister and I were traveling with our parents. Our car pick-up in Kunming was delayed, and after visiting the Stone Forest, we didn't arrive at the hotel until late in the evening. The owner was incredibly welcoming and promptly upgraded our double room to a suite for free. They also brewed some delicious black tea for us. The hotel's decor is unique and stylish, making it very photogenic. They even offered a complimentary photography package, but we unfortunately couldn't take advantage of it as we were moving on to Haixi and Shuanglang and checking out the next day. If you love taking photos, this is definitely the place to be!

A great place to stay. The location is quite close to the ancient city and have a lot of restaurants nearby. The place is simply beautiful and delivers every necessity. We were given two coupons: one for dress up session in minority clothes the other for trying out some tea. Due to short stay it sadly wasn't feasible to use it. The breakfast was simple but tasty. The room we have been using was quite silent, no problems with noise whatsoever. Highly recommend place.
