This B&B is truly a delight. It has four floors: the first and second floors house guest rooms, the third floor houses a breakfast room, café, and common lounge area, and the fourth floor features a terrace with a view. The overall ambiance of the B&B is elegant and tasteful, with both the rooms and common areas being very stylish. The Xi Shang Jin room we booked was probably the largest, and it was truly spacious. Besides the living room, bedroom, and bathroom, it also boasted a separate courtyard and tea room, complete with a projector, an automatic flush toilet, and self-closing curtains. The breakfast selection, while limited, was well-balanced. There were complimentary drinks in the mini-bar in each room. During our stay, we also had a complimentary afternoon tea, which we could choose to enjoy in the café or in our rooms. In the evening, we also had a different dessert, and we stayed for three nights. The B&B also offers airport and train pick-up service, with pick-up for two nights and three nights. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the stay, and the service was excellent. I missed it just one day after leaving and already miss it!

During the summer of 2025, we traveled to Dali, Yunnan, a mountain resort. We chose to stay at Shanyin, a hotel with a prime location, facing Erhai Lake and nestled against Cangshan Mountain. The hotel was reasonably priced and included a nutritious and healthy breakfast, a delicious afternoon tea, and a different evening dessert each day. The hotel's design is truly unique, with each corner and room offering a unique character, perfect for photo ops. The housekeepers were also incredibly welcoming and attentive, both handsome and beautiful. I have to brag about finding this truly satisfying gem among so many hotels! The experience of having breakfast every day while gazing at the beautiful view is truly worth experiencing!
