Banshan Cloud Brocade Hotel（Dali Ancient City South Gate Store）

The service was great. We had an early train from Dali to Lijiang, and they prepared breakfast for us the night before. It's not a long walk to the South Gate of Dali Ancient City. There's a bus stop right at the intersection, which is very convenient for getting to Caicun Pier on Erhai Lake and the train station.

The room was clean and tidy, and it's very convenient, only 500 meters from Dali Ancient City, about a 10-minute walk. The breakfast was delicious, I highly recommend the rice noodles. They also offered extra fruit in the evenings, and the environment was really good too.

This hotel is perfectly situated! Just a short walk across the street brings you to the South Gate of Dali Ancient City. The views are incredible too; the hotel backs onto Cangshan Mountain, and the floor-to-ceiling windows face Erhai Lake, offering a wide, open vista. The service was also excellent and very welcoming. They even thoughtfully prepared local Bai-style mooncakes for guests during the Mid-Autumn Festival, which was a lovely touch 👍

The hotel environment is very artistic and tasteful, clearly reflecting the owner's sophisticated style. It's impeccably clean, and the bedding is very comfortable. Upon arrival, the front desk attendant proactively helped me with my luggage to my room, providing exceptionally warm service. Complimentary fruits and afternoon tea were offered daily. The lovely proprietress was very kind, patiently answering my questions and offering valuable suggestions. They even gave me a floral cake upon departure. Overall, everything was highly satisfactory, and I would definitely return if I have the chance.

You can tell the owner puts a lot of heart into running this hotel! All the staff are incredibly warm and genuinely dedicated, showcasing excellent company culture and service spirit. It's truly a gem among guesthouses! The hotel is not far from the South Gate of the ancient city, which is super convenient for evening strolls and participating in various activities within the city. The room was clean and hygienic, the bathroom facilities were high-end, and the bedding was comfortable. If all guesthouses in China were run with such quality and dedication, they would surely win the trust and acceptance of the public, with promising prospects!

The location is excellent, right by the South Gate of Dali Old Town. It has huge floor-to-ceiling windows offering a breathtaking view, which is truly refreshing. The room was exceptionally clean, and the breakfast was abundant. They also offered afternoon tea and welcome fruit. There's a beautiful little courtyard to stroll around in. The owner, from Northeast China, is incredibly hospitable, and the young lady at the front desk was also very helpful, proactively assisting us with our luggage. She even helped us dry our clothes after 10 pm. On our last day, we left early, and the guesthouse thoughtfully packed us a simple meal and gave us a box of flower cakes. I highly recommend staying here; it's a first-rate B&B in terms of service and facilities! 👍👍

This guesthouse has an absolutely amazing location, right next to the South Gate of Dali Old Town. Step outside, and you're immediately at a landmark photo spot within the Old Town, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and sightseeing. There are plenty of attractions nearby, and all sorts of food and entertainment options are readily available. What's more, the guesthouse environment is elegant and quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were particularly thoughtful, actively helping with our luggage, which made for a fantastic experience. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Dali!

The location is excellent, just across the road from the South Gate of the Ancient City, making it very convenient for getting around. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard with small fish, offering a tranquil environment, and they even provide afternoon tea. The staff are very friendly and offer thoughtful service. My stay was very pleasant, and I highly recommend it.

The room was great, perfect for a family trip. The service was excellent, and both breakfast and afternoon tea were good. The location is also fantastic, very close to the South Gate of the Old Town, the Three Pagodas, and Longkan Wharf. It's very convenient for getting taxis; just mention the 'Old Town South Gate traffic light' and drivers know exactly where to go. Plus, the Cantonese restaurant at the entrance is quite delicious, great for people who prefer lighter meals. My parents ate there every day, for four meals straight! 😂 The only minor drawback is that being on the roadside, there's occasional noise when people rev their engines, but it gets pretty quiet at night.
