Da Li LAN HE FU resort hotel

This hotel is located directly opposite Cangshan Gate in the old town, about a 5-minute walk from the North Gate vegetable market. You'll first encounter the famous Xizhou Baba (a local pastry) – I tried both the savory and sweet versions, and they were delicious! Further inside, you'll find 'shaobing' (baked flatbread) and 'Uncle Corn,' both highly recommended on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform), and their flavors definitely lived up to the hype! In terms of location, the hotel is excellent. Sanjue Street is also nearby. Even with the windows closed at night, it's very quiet. The breakfast was decent and satisfactory.

The room was clean and tidy, much better than those homestays. Both front desk ladies were exceptionally good, professional and thoughtful in their service. They even gave us a souvenir when we left, which was a really nice touch.

Our room was spotless and quiet, and the service was thoughtful and attentive. It's very close to the old town, making it easy to get around. A truly pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located directly opposite the Cangshan Gate of the Old Town, just a one-minute walk across the road, which is incredibly convenient. The room was clean and tidy, with no lingering smell of renovation. It's also great for those driving, as there's parking available. The front desk service was excellent, always helpful and accommodating. When we checked out, they even gave us complimentary flower cakes and drip coffee. The only minor drawback was a slight leak in the shower, which is why I deducted 0.5 points for facilities, but it didn't affect its usability.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to the Ancient City and March Street. I was happy with all the facilities and amenities. Front desk staffer Xiao Zhu provided excellent service too. Overall, I'm really satisfied and highly recommend it. It was clean and the service was thoughtful.

I wasn't going to review this hotel, but it's the only one that's ever really annoyed me. I was driving there in the afternoon when they called to say they were upgrading my room. Since I was driving, I thought it sounded good and accepted. But when I got there, it was a king suite with a sofa bed. We're a family of three, and I originally booked a two-bedroom. I later told the hotel I wanted to stick with my original room, but they said all those rooms were gone. My family had to take turns showering, which was incredibly inconvenient. The front desk said the upgrade was even more expensive than my original room. I think it's unnecessary to play smart with customers; anyone who travels a lot knows they just gave my original room to someone else. The staff were indeed enthusiastic and cheerful, but surely comfort is a basic need for guests, right? I'm still a bit annoyed. With no room change, it was too late to go elsewhere that night.

The hotel's location is super convenient, and having its own courtyard for parking is a big plus. The butler service, where they help you with your luggage upstairs, was also quite good.

The hotel facilities are very new and definitely up to a 4-star standard 👍🏻. The small pavilion was also a very comfortable spot to relax in.
