Dali Muyan Dongfang

This was the most satisfying hotel of our Dali trip. The sea view is unbeatable, and it's incredibly quiet – truly a place to relax and unwind. We stayed in two room types: the Taoyao 270-degree sea view room and the Fangzhou 150 sq. meter sea view room, and we were incredibly, incredibly satisfied. The room's amenities, both hardware and software, were impeccable, with a huge terrace and bathtub. Just gazing at Erhai Lake from the room was romantic. The mattress was exceptionally comfortable, and the toiletries and hairdryer were top-notch. The welcome fruits and snacks were plentiful. The hotel staff had excellent service attitudes. There's a cafe on the first floor, and both breakfast and lunch were good. Outside, there's a beautiful garden perfect for photos; every shot is picturesque. We look forward to staying here again on our next Dali vacation.

The room was incredibly spacious and expansive, with high ceilings that made it feel so airy and not at all cramped! The terrace was quite sizable, and there's a beautiful landscape pond outside, offering a wide and comfortable view of the lake. The hotel's cafe and garden are stunning! The breakfast selection was also very rich and diverse. The overall environment is very photogenic, making it a fantastic experience for a vacation stay.

I really didn't want to leave! Our room offered a stunning 270-degree sea view, and the Erhai Lake outside the window changed colors from morning to night. I could see it all from my bed – the view was incredibly open and completely unobstructed. The balcony faced the lake directly, perfect for sitting out and enjoying the breeze whenever I wanted. The butler service was also very attentive and available whenever we needed them! The hotel is perched on a cliff, offering excellent privacy. The room facilities were new, the bedding was comfortable, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Breakfast had a rich variety of options and was beautifully presented.

The scenery is breathtaking, the service is superb, it's clean and tidy, and they cater to your every need. This is probably the best B&B around Erhai Lake! Highly recommended, definitely worth staying! Absolutely fantastic!

The front desk service was excellent, patient and kind, and they even offered professional travel photography services. Some of the restaurant staff seemed new and weren't quite familiar with everything yet. The location is absolutely fantastic; it's only about a 15-minute drive from the airport, making it the perfect first stop when arriving in Dali. Watching the sunset from the outdoor platform instantly immerses you in the romance of Erhai Lake.

This was the most comfortable hotel experience we had in Dali during our summer trip. The location is excellent, making transportation very convenient, whether by taxi or renting an electric scooter. The hotel boasts beautiful scenery, and we decided to pay extra to upgrade to the 'Ark' room type. The room was a spacious 150 square meters, with comfortable bedding and high-end amenities. The large round bathtub was incredibly relaxing, and the huge terrace offered stunning views of the clouds drifting by. The hotel's cliffside restaurant and garden are also incredibly photogenic. A special shout-out to our butler, Xiao Xu, who provided attentive and thoughtful service throughout our stay, from checking in, showing us rooms for the upgrade, to assisting with our departure and seeing us off the next day. For the comfort of the stay and the overall service quality, it definitely deserves a five-star rating! 👍

This hotel, which I found on Xiaohongshu, definitely didn't disappoint. It's located on a cliff in Haidong, easy to find, and you can drive directly to the indoor parking where a butler greets you at the entrance. The room was meticulously clean, with excellent natural light and a great ambiance. What truly stood out was the spaciousness of the room, adorned with a simple yet sophisticated decor. It boasts a large bathtub, and the balcony with its infinity pool is perfect for photos. Both the front desk and the butlers were incredibly warm and accommodating; communicating any needs was smooth and responses were quick. The hotel also features a cafe and a restaurant, and the authentic Yunnan cuisine is definitely worth trying. Plus, there's a cliffside garden, making the overall value for money excellent. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit; the environment and service are both outstanding.

In today's highly competitive Yunnan hotel industry, where everyone seems to be embracing the Wabi-sabi, minimalist, and even sterile styles, this hotel truly stands out. Its decor is grand, the materials used are high-quality, and it perfectly encapsulates a resort-like ambiance. I believe the numerous positive reviews accurately reflect how guests genuinely found a vacation feel here. While it clearly aims to be an Instagrammable spot, it's also evident that the management team is dedicated to providing excellent service. With both great hardware and software, this hotel has a promising future.
