Dali Kingdom International Youth Hostel

This hostel is so cozy! I stayed here twice, a second time after coming back to Dali. The staff are friendly and helpful and all areas are clean and hygienic. You can use electronic heating of the matrasses and take the bus, it’s just a 5min walk away from the busstop and main gate.

Nifty hostel with a western toilet! Plenty of seating outside the rooms and in the common spaces. Showers on the small side but great pressure and hot water. Nice fruit market 2 mins walk away. Add a couple of photos to help find it.

Love this hostel! I went there on off seasons so there's nobody in the dorm. The owner speaks English so it's easy to communicate! The place is amazing, very cozy. The shower and toilet is great, nothing to complain about it. Would really recommend to solo travellers to stay here! It's right in the middle of the old town. You can literally walk everywhere inside. I'll definitely be back here if I ever come back to Dali again!

The location was perfect, really central and also connected within the public transportation of the city. The owners are really nice and friendly. My room was big enough. The big plus for me were the two beautiful cats 😍

Old but pretty and cosy house, good location and view. No smell in room and in common space. Rooms on 3rd floor became noisy because in the rain because of drops.

This Hostel is the best hostel that I have been in during this trip in china so far. The hospitality I received from the staff and other guests were great, and they even had some outings/activities like a group hot pot, the fire show, and a dumpling making session. As a foreigner I felt very welcomed by the mandarin speaking guests despite the language barrier. One of the owners also helped me rent an electric moped through a trusted company, which was helpful. The hostel itself is quite good. The bunks are spacious , rooms are clean, and the best part, there is a western toilet, which was very nice to have. The location is close enough to the main touristy area where it doesn’t feel like a trek to get to, but it is far enough out where u just step outside into the madness. Additionally, the local market was a 5 min walk away.
