The location is convenient, close to the pedestrian street, making it easy to eat, shop, and visit the old town! The hotel rooms are clean, comfortable, and hygienic, and the courtyard is also beautifully maintained and clean. The front desk staff are friendly, and the cats and dogs are very hospitable! 😍😍

Located on the outskirts of the ancient city, it's very quiet at night. The small courtyard is beautiful. The owner is also very nice, he'll pick you up and help with your luggage.

The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. One of them even came out to assist us with our luggage and guided us directly to the guesthouse. Their help throughout our stay was truly excellent. Considering the value for money, it's a great deal; the price is affordable and the room environment is quite good. However, the shower curtain had some mold. Also, the guesthouse is quite far down an alley, which would be difficult to find on your own, but since the staff helped us check in, it wasn't a major issue. The bed was a bit hard, making for an uncomfortable sleep. Other than that, everything else was good.

Three words to sum it up: Highly, highly recommended! Here's why: 1. **Excellent Location, Close to the Ancient City:** It's just a few hundred meters from the South Gate of Dali Ancient City, a 5-10 minute walk. From here, it's convenient to get to Cangshan Mountain, the western side of Erhai Lake, and Dali Ancient City itself. 2. **Great Room Environment with a Small Courtyard, and Reasonable Price:** (I booked during the off-season, a twin room for 120 yuan a night), see pictures 1-3. 3. **Plenty of Food Nearby:** The area is full of snack streets. 4. **Quiet:** It's not facing the street (because the guesthouse is located in a small alley), so it's quite peaceful. 5. **Great Service:** As soon as I arrived at the South Gate of Dali Ancient City, the owner proactively picked me up (also because the guesthouse in the alley can be a bit tricky to find). He also contacted me in advance (see chat records with a friend in pictures 4-5). Last night, I got lost on my way back because it was too dark; I messaged the owner, and he immediately came to pick me up. Especially today, I was exploring Dali Ancient City quite late and was about to miss my high-speed train. Without a second thought, the owner delivered my luggage, which I had left at the guesthouse, to the pick-up point for the Dali Ancient City to Dali Station route.

Great location! It's just a few steps from the alley to the night market street. Even if you take a taxi, it's not far to walk out a short distance on the stone-paved road. The room is quite spacious, though it would be even better with a few more tables for placing belongings. The owner is very welcoming.

The courtyard is very spacious, and the B&B owner is incredibly welcoming.

The environment is great, and it's very clean. It's also conveniently located for getting around.
