Seven Seconds Time Capsule Youth Hostel Reviews

Super fun! The scenery right outside is beautiful. The owner is really nice too, and you can even do tie-dye downstairs. The ancient town is just a few minutes away.

The owner is very friendly and easy to talk with, the capsule is very private and quite clean, I never thought I’d enjoy such a stay and the location is also very convenient to nearby attractions! The owner also gave us some amazing info and facts about Dali that let us plan our route more efficiently!

Very welcoming host. Very clean and the bed is nice. Unfortunately need to buy additional towel and bath soap was run out when I was there. Luckily the host help me and send me a sachet of shampoo and body soap. Recommende

A really great hostel! The rooms were clean, and all the staff and fellow travelers were super friendly, creating a wonderful atmosphere.

I had a comfortable stay. The only minor drawback was that the bathroom door was a bit difficult to open. The cleanliness was decent, and the rooftop offered a great view of Cangshan Mountain. I also got to try tie-dyeing, and both owners were very kind.

Great place to stay. Friendly owner. Clean. Fun place with many activities. Convenient.

good location. it was very comfortable, the capsules are very interesting. would recommend

The owner is very kind and welcoming, and the hostel is very clean. The room also has great soundproofing! However, I'd advise female travelers to avoid room 2002. There's a long-term tenant who has a terrible temper. She slams the door violently whenever she comes and goes, and she plays poker (Dou Dizhu) at 2 AM, which is very loud. If you try to talk to her, she'll just yell profanities. If it weren't for my leg injury and the fact that other rooms didn't have lower bunks available, I really wouldn't want to share a room with her. 😓

Loved it, unforgettable experience! The host was super handsome and nice. The hostel was cleaned daily and very tidy, and there was always plenty of hot water. Dali was truly unforgettable, and I'll definitely go back and stay here again if I get the chance!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. Met some amazing fellow travelers there. The owner allowed us to use his kitchen for cooking. We went to local market and bought some stuff to prepare our own meals. The capsule bed was comfortable and provided privacy. The front porch allows us to socialize and meet other travelers.

Rooms were clean and nice, owner was extremely nice and helpful

I originally planned to stay for two days, then extended it to four, and then again to six days. This was mainly because I met some interesting people who were quite inspiring! The hostel's location is great, close to the north gate of the ancient city, making it quite convenient overall. The facilities, cleanliness, and service were perfectly adequate.

Great hostel ! I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it.

Spacious room, with a good shower and nice toiletries and towels. Convenient location with many things in walking distance. Very friendly and helpful boss who went above and beyond to help me rent a bike and find some dinner when I arrived late. I’d highly recommend.
