Finally checked into the viral Muxinbao Cliff Manor, and it's even better than the pictures! 📍Perched on a cliffside in Haidong's Wenbi Village, it boasts a prime spot with panoramic views of Erhai Lake and the distant Cangshan mountains. The scenery here easily surpasses most other sea-view guesthouses. The overall design blends French château elegance with Santorini's blue and white, and a touch of Moroccan exoticism. There are countless Instagrammable spots: red brick arches, a wishing fountain, an infinity pool on the cliff, and white staircases. You can snap stunning photos in a long dress and use them straight away without editing. Plus, it's exclusively for guests, so it never feels crowded. We booked a sea-view cave room with a soaking tub. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unobstructed view of the sea, and soaking in the tub by the window while admiring the ocean view was incredibly relaxing. The amenities are thoughtfully chosen: King Koil mattress, Dyson hairdryer, and high-end toiletries. Fresh flowers are replenished daily, and the room is spotless and odor-free. I have to rave about the 24-hour dedicated butler service! They arranged airport transfers, helped with luggage, provided welcome fruits upon arrival, and served exquisite afternoon tea daily. In the evenings, there was even a comforting sweet Tremella soup. They even offer complimentary travel photography. Seriously, they catered to our every need throughout our stay. For breakfast, you can choose between rice noodles or a Western-style simple meal. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were spot on. It's a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the ancient city, perfect for quietly watching the clouds and the sea. It truly allows you to 'graze your inner self.' This is definitely our top choice for a Dali getaway, and we'll be back again!

This was an absolutely fantastic homestay experience. I've stayed in other places where the photos looked great, but the reality was a huge disappointment. So I didn't have high expectations this time, but wow, was I surprised! Could a homestay actually look as good as its pictures? Was the 'butler service' more than just a slogan? And could a room really be this beautiful without a wide-angle lens? This time, I truly experienced it all. If I had to nitpick, I'd suggest the host add a few more hooks in the room. Other than that, there's nothing else to say. If you're reading reviews and researching accommodations, go ahead and book this place with confidence – you won't be disappointed!

Choosing Muchingburg for our Dali trip was absolutely worth it! The estate offers breathtaking scenery, with beautiful photo opportunities at every turn. The butler service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful; they handled all our transportation within the village, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. They were always responsive to our requests and even helped us plan excellent itineraries. The whole place radiates warmth and tranquility, perfect for enjoying the Erhai Lake views or for taking photos. Both the service and environment are top-notch, making it ideal for families with children. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Dali.

I really love the courtyard with a swing. It was great to enjoy a beer in the evening and take in the night view of the ancient city across the way. There was a period when the blue hour was perfect for photography. Even with bad weather, just relaxing at the hotel was super comfortable.

24-hour butler service, plus electric car transfers to Wenbi Village. They have a cafe and a sea-view restaurant. The B&B even provides clothes and hats, so you don't need to bring your own pretty dresses. I was so relaxed on my vacation!
