Gorgeous views and sunrise, lovely relaxing area to eat, read, chill and listen to the lapping waters of the lake. Dali is pretty, not overcrowded (the season we came) and with enough shops and amazing sights. Highly recommended inn and old town.

The environment is very good. When I first walked in, I thought the front desk on the first floor was a coffee shop. The layout is very warm. There are afternoon tea desserts and coffee sodas to eat. We ate at night and it felt very good. The flowers in the store seem to change frequently. The flowers of the previous night are different from the next day. There is also a small pond in front of the hotel with many small goldfish. If you don’t go out to play, it’s also nice to stay in the hotel. There are large floor-to-ceiling windows and large mirrors in the room. If it is a sunny day, it is very pleasant to look at the sea in the room. The only regret is that it was cloudy when we came. I will come again next time when the weather is good.

The room we stayed in this time was right by the Erhai Lake. It felt great to sleep listening to the sound of the waves. The room service was also very good, and it was close to various scenic spots. I highly recommend it!

This time I came to Dali and stayed at the Walan Inn. It was a really good experience. The 4-story sea view building next to Erhai Lake has a great view, a large room and is very comfortable. I would like to especially thank Xiao Li and Xiao Xiong, who drove us to the pier. Their driving skills are amazing. The ladies at the front desk were also very enthusiastic.
