Days Inn by Wyndham Dali Erhai Park

Pretty good. I booked a standard room but got a family room instead, though it didn't really matter. My child slept in the small bed. The hotel includes breakfast; I didn't make it, but my child went and said it was good. There's a gym, pool, and laundry room. It's very close to Xiaguan, and it's easy to take a taxi to the Ancient City. While you can't walk right out to Erhai Lake, it's relatively quiet, which I personally liked a lot. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit.

The room was spacious with a great view and excellent ventilation. The bed was large and all the basic amenities were provided. There's even a free laundry room, which is super convenient. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the service was excellent. The only minor downside was that the air conditioning didn't seem to cool very well. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.

The location is very convenient, close to the airport and train station, making it easy to get around the Erhai Lake area. Compared to the old town, it's not as crowded. The hygiene and service are standardized, typical of a chain hotel.

The room was clean, and the view from my room was just as good as the pictures showed. The 7th-floor terrace was really comfortable and had a great view. Having a BBQ there at night, looking out at the city lights, was absolutely amazing!

When I arrived at the hotel, it wasn't yet check-in time, but there was an available room so the front desk kindly arranged for me to check in, which I really appreciated. However, the room hadn't been cleaned yet; the previous guest hadn't even flushed the toilet after urinating, and there were hairs on the bedsheets. I called housekeeping, and they said they'd changed them, but there were still black marks and saliva stains on the pillows. I absolutely do not recommend this place. The room was also very old-fashioned. The only positive was the man at the front desk, who I believe was the manager, and he was quite accommodating. The linens were also damaged, which was unacceptable. Because I booked two rooms for two nights, I had to request several sheet changes. The cleaning staff and housekeeping were visibly unhappy about it!

The hotel is close to Erhai Park. A friendly reminder: there are several Wyndham hotels in Dali with similar names, which can be quite confusing. Make sure to double-check the address when using navigation.

I originally booked an 'Elegant.Mini' room (mini-space), but upon arrival at the hotel, because I'm a Trip.com member, they upgraded me to a 'Cloud.Mountain-Sea King' room. Even though my room was close to the airport road, the noise was minimal and it was quite quiet. From the window, I could see Erhai Lake and Erhai Park. It only takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the Erhai Park archway, and about 10 minutes from the hotel to the lakeside. The breakfast selection was also quite varied. I'll choose to stay here again next time I visit Dali.

The hotel is great, with an excellent location within walking distance to Erhai Park. It's very pleasant to stroll along Erhai Lake in the evening. The breakfast offers a rich variety, and there's ample parking, making it perfect for self-driving tours.
