We were very satisfied with the room. We had a direct view of Erhai Lake from the balcony as soon as we opened the window, and a wetland park is right outside the entrance. For the peak summer season, being able to book such a room at this price exceeded our expectations, especially as other similar properties were typically priced at 1,000-2,000 yuan. The owner was also incredibly helpful; she assisted with our luggage and even arranged a private car for our trip to Lijiang. The service was flawless.

I'm usually not one to leave reviews, but I just had to for this place! I spent days searching online and finally settled on Gugu Meimei because I was drawn to the beautiful balcony view. It turns out the real thing is even better than the pictures! The room was so stunning that I was speechless the moment I walked in, and I immediately decided I would definitely stay here again next time. I looked around from the balcony, and this place is absolutely the prettiest among the neighboring ones! The room's curtains provided excellent blackout, the AC worked great, and all the toiletries were disposable. They even provided an eye mask and a face mask! The in-room mini-bar was completely free, and we received welcome fruits upon arrival, a gorgeous afternoon tea, and a souvenir upon departure. This place truly changed my perception that B&Bs aren't as good as hotels. If I had to find a fault, it would be that the parking lot is quite challenging for drivers. However, the staff helped carry our luggage to and from the parking lot, which was only about 200 meters away. Also, it would be great if the top-floor Miyo room and public area had some sort of barrier; I felt a bit unsafe being able to step directly from my room onto the public terrace. All in all, it was a perfect experience, and I've already recommended it to many family and friends, telling them to choose this place when they visit Yunnan!
