Hengli Hotel Dalian

The autumn sea view is absolutely stunning; I personally feel it's the best season to stay at the Grand Hyatt Dalian. A reliable staff member truly makes you want to return.

The Dalian Hengli Hotel's sea view suite offers an unbeatable ocean view with two bedrooms, two living rooms, two bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. It's perfect for family stays. Downstairs, you'll find the Oriental Water City and the coastline, making transportation and dining incredibly convenient.

This will be my go-to hotel next time I visit Dalian. The location is excellent, right by Donggang seaside. The high floor offers great views, the elevators are fast, and it's very quiet. The room has a washing machine, which is perfect for longer stays. The breakfast on the top floor is also good; go early to grab a window seat for the best views. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic. A bonus: you can watch the sunset right from your bed.

Overall: Very average. First, the service: The doorman who opened the car doors and other staff members rarely greeted guests proactively. Second, hygiene: The floors weren't cleaned properly. Even after I emphasized it on the second day, they were still just 'okay'. The female chef who made noodles in the morning didn't wear a mask and was singing while cooking (even if saliva didn't fall in, it's still a big issue). At least wear a mask, even if it's just for show. No one in the restaurant wore masks or gloves. The coffee cups even had coffee stains. I was too lazy to take pictures. Every word is true. Third, the welcome fruit was disappointing. There was no WeChat concierge either. The overall配套 services just couldn't keep up. Fourth, the breakfast variety hardly changed over the three days. Fifth, the location was decent and the view was good.

Overall, a good experience 👍 The service was excellent, the high-floor view was great, and breakfast was good. It was a pleasant stay, very convenient being close to Venice Water Town, and parking was easy.

Just across the street from Venice Water Park. The check-in service was great, but the restaurant staff's attitude was just so-so. The coffee machine was also out of order. Usually, hotels place disposable coffee cups next to the machine, but there weren't any here. When I asked for one, they said they didn't have any, and only reluctantly gave me one after I insisted. Hope they can improve on this.

The hotel is very clean and quiet, and the service is excellent. They frequently replenished our mineral water and tissues when we used a lot. While the price is a bit high during peak season, it's still worth it.
