Guoshi Hotel (Dalian Donggang Business District Harbour Plaza Subway Station)

The location is right in the city center, very close to the subway station and less than a 10-minute walk away. The hotel service and environment are both great, and they also offer complimentary coffee and a gym. Highly recommended!

Our stay at this hotel during our Dalian trip was an unexpected delight, far exceeding our expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dalian. The hotel boasts an excellent location, making travel incredibly convenient. It's close to the subway station, and a short taxi ride will get you to attractions like Donggang, Xinghai Square, and Fisherman's Wharf. Downstairs, you'll find a wide array of restaurants and convenience stores, so finding seafood or local snacks is a breeze. Check-in was efficient and seamless. The front desk staff were warm, polite, and patiently answered all our questions. They even thoughtfully recommended local tour routes, providing attentive and thorough service. Our room was spotlessly clean and odor-free. The bedding was fresh and soft, and the mattress was just right – not too hard, not too soft. After a long day of exploring, we could truly relax as soon as we lay down. The room itself was spacious with excellent natural light. Facilities were well-maintained, with stable air conditioning and hot water. The bathroom featured a wet and dry separation, and all toiletries were provided. The soundproofing was impressive; despite being in a commercial area, closing the windows ensured a peaceful night's sleep, undisturbed by outside noise. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered fantastic views – cityscapes during the day, stunning sunsets in the evening, and a panoramic view of the city lights at night, creating a wonderful ambiance. The housekeeping staff diligently cleaned daily and replenished supplies promptly. The hotel's public areas were clean and tidy, and elevator wait times were short. The luggage storage service was also very convenient, especially for us as we were taking a ferry the next day. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money with no hidden tricks. From the hardware facilities to the service details, you can feel the care put into everything. It's suitable for both solo travelers and those traveling with companions. This hotel truly enhanced our Dalian trip with an added layer of comfort. Should I visit Dalian again, this will be my top choice, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all friends planning a trip to Dalian.

Given the current price, this place offers great value for money. Although the room isn't large, the king bed is more than enough for two people. The overall environment is nice, clean, and well-kept. There was a slight smell in the bathroom at first, but turning on the exhaust fan for a bit seemed to clear it out. Very satisfied with the service. The front desk proactively upgraded us from a windowless room to one with a window during check-in, and bottled water was available upon request at any time. There are plenty of dining options in the surrounding area, and it's about a 20-minute walk to the Old Pier scenic area and the Donggang Music Fountain Square. Soundproofing is a bit poor, and I hope this can be improved.

Great stay! It's actually not too far from the subway station—just a short walk away. It's tucked away in a small alley just off the main road. There's an amazing fresh fruit cut shop right across the street, and a Lawson convenience store nearby. We initially booked a king room with a big bathtub, but the front desk staff were so lovely and kindly upgraded our room. We were able to connect our Switch to the TV, and even borrowed a power strip from the front desk. The hotel facilities are fantastic, complete with a coffee machine, tea, microwave, and refrigerator. Highly recommended! ❤️❤️❤️

Facilities: The facilities are very comprehensive, everything you could possibly need is here. Environment: The hygiene is truly top-notch; everywhere is spotless. The pillows are exceptionally good and very comfortable. Very close to Donggang, making it extremely convenient to get around.

Absolutely fantastic! This hotel is very artistic and thoughtful, with excellent hygiene. The air conditioning works well, and they even provide toilet seat covers. Although the location isn't right on a main street, it's easy to get a taxi, and the fruit from the nearby fruit shop is delicious. Highly recommended! It's also close to all the major attractions.
