Luxury Downtown Dallas Stay by Amyfinehouse

Excellent location, massive apartment, brilliant hosts. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay, thanks.

It started off really rocky. The valet was anything but friendly, didn't ask for a lot of information when I left my vehicle and made me wonder if I would ever see it again. It was right at dark and the property didn't feel safe. Walking to the room, I was cat-called by numerous people at the pool, in the lobby and waiting for the elevator. The room itself was so pretty, and the view was amazing. That night, I did put my suitcase in front of the door. During the day, it was alot better, the valet was never great, but the day staff was much friendlier. Once everyone seemed to have left Sunday, the place and area felt alot safer. As far as the area, same thing, nighttime was a bit sketchy with alot of homeless people. All in all, I felt more secure the longer I stayed. But being a single mom with 2 kids, I probably would not book this spot again.

A Different But Very Good Stay Excellent place to stay near the Hutchinson Convention Center and other sites. Not a hotel, but seems to be an old building, converted to condos or apartments, that rents out a number of furnished units on a daily basis. You do not get a room assigned when you arrive. You get a specific, numbered, unit from the beginning. First, the downside. No one is onsite at a front desk to check you in or to help you, and the code system that is used is a bit difficult to learn. A room code quit working, so it was good I had their number handy in my phone. Everything seems to be done remotely. I never was comfortable with the system though I understand it better now. Keypad was tricky Due to its great location, a two-block walk to the convention center, we found people sleeping on the sidewalk and grates near the front door every evening. A little disconcerting, but after the first time, we felt safe. The rooms are great, but the hallways are a bit unfinished and sometimes had a slight smell. And you must carry your stuff almost a block from parking to the hotel. Second, the upside. The room was amazing in size, with a full kitchen and sufficient furnishings. The valet parking was free in a small parking garage. The rate was better than hotels in that location. When I called them, several times, the people who answered were quite helpful and worked to provide what was needed. I parked my car and could walk the entire three day stay. Overall, a very good stay in an excellent location!

Location was great for the Convention Center. Room was very comfortable. All commmunication with the host and staff was through digital means, and that took some getting used too. Additional towels would have been nice.

Very funky vibe and nice big apartment. Big comfortable bed and great shower. But lots of elevator issues, and it’s noisy. You hear the footsteps of people in the room above you. Still good value for the price.
