Villa Ozalp Apartments

Unfortunately this is the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. The rooms are shocking, exposed sockets, mould, pictures cover issues with mould. The kitchen utensils are filthy, the curtains have holes in them, the cooker is on top of the fridge. The mattress had a massive hole in it with springs exposed, it was covered in stains and smelt bad. My partner was asked to carry the mattress down three flights of stairs and return to a stireroom, then get another old mattress and carry back up unaided. The apartment smelt of smoke, the air conditioning hardly worked and there was no air con in the bedroom. Broken tiles around the pool that a child fell in to, slippery steps everywhere. A teenager went flying and smacked his back on the staircase. The door to the bathroom was 5ft high! There was a window less than a foot from the bed and no safety lock, any child could fall from this three storey apartment, its an accident waiting to happen. The main pool was green when we arrived, it resembled a swamp. The shower wouldn't attac to the wall but was rectified. Cleaning happened once whilst we were there, rooms not cleaned or bins emptied only towels replaced. I would never stay here again! The saving grace to this hotel is that the bar/restaurant area was run by a lovely couple who rented the area from the owners. The bar was clean and the food was very good. They were brilliant and if the hotel was run solely by them I believe it would be vastly improved. I believe the owners don't see any issues with the accommodation. This hotel has alot of potential but needs so many issues dealt with.

The pictures on web site do not reflect the grim reality of what we walked in to. Walls were dirty, cobwebs hanging from the walls. Severe mould in cupboard under sink in bathroom . Sink and shower taps were loose, as well as mould between tiles in shower, which also leaked badly into rest of bathroom, mattress and pillows hard, we ached daily upon waking. No words to describe the fridge.

Dirty bed linen ripped with blood stains. Foul smell from drains permeating through the apartment. No Air con in bedroom, Air con in living room not working. Swimming pool dirty. On site bar tried to over charge for my bill fortunately I knew what I had drunk and queried the charges, It was eventually rectified, Word of advice pay your bar bill daily they will try to overcharge. Overall I cannot say anything positive about this accommodation and would strongly advise people not to book. Was so bad left hotel after a few days and paid to stay elsewhere (sadly had paid for full two weeks in advance for this abomination of a hotel)

Anybody that gives this place more than one star must have very low standards. I have only just returned from my first holiday in Turkey and this place participated in a terrible start to the holiday. Arrived around 2030hrs and was shown to the room by a pleasant old woman who spoke a few words of English. My sister and niece were shown to their apartment, where there was a line of bricks situated in front of the door. There were also bricks inside the room that they were required to climb over. The room was filthy and the air con unit was hanging from the wall. On my way to my room on first floor, the sensor reactive lights go off after a few seconds which made it difficult to navigate the spiral stairs, resulted in my son taking a fall. The main doors have see through glass which offers no privacy, washing machine plugged in near the shower and sockets hanging from the wall. Looked like the place had not been cleaned for a while. We left after 5 minutes and paid 700 pound for alternative accommodation. Avoid at all costs.
