"Lovely hotel, made special by the great staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they go above and beyond to ensure you're happy and comfortable. Reception guys are brilliant as is Rams on the bar and Mahmood at breakfast. There's a big selection at breakfast and the cook does a fantastic job. The rooms are cleaned daily and are spacious and have a large bathroom. Only thing we would have liked is somewhere to get a good snack early evening and sit with a good coffee. Everywhere seems to install press and go coffee machines which never taste great. It's not far into town though, about a 10 to 15 minute walk. It felt very homely for a hotel so we'd definitely come here again. The pool in April is too cold to use but would be great any other time of year."

"Stayed for one day. The city itself is very interesting, there is something to do for several days for sure. A small hotel in a village style, simple and cozy, there is a swimming pool, terraces, verandas. The view from the terrace is right opposite the tombs, its own pier, you can call a boat. Just for the view it is worth staying here. Nice hosts, pleasant atmosphere in the hotel. We left our things on the floor after check-out and went to the thermal springs."

"Decided we would try Dalyan just as the season opened, and boy it didn't disappoint! Back to the Portakal again, and it's had a few upgrades during the winter. That's one thing I have to say about the owners Cuneyt & Mehtap, they are always looking for ways to make their visitors stay more comfortable. This season the pool has been retiled, giving it an 'ocean' effect and the bar has had a facelift. Also new this season is some very comfy outdoor seating and the addition of a pool table! Great to see all the regular staff back in attendance, and this time it was great to see some old faces we had met before! Special mentions to Eyup for always going above and beyond for us and to the main man Ramazan for being the entertainment as usual . Great hotel and staff, can't wait to come back!!"

"We don't usually take photos inside the room, so I only have pictures of the grounds. It's a small hotel with a very cozy and beautiful territory. We enjoyed the views of the river and the mountains. We visited in January, and it was cold, so there were very few guests, and the pool wasn't filled. However, the Lycian tombs are clearly visible right from the hotel. Just a few meters away, there's a ferry across the river to the ruins of Kaunos and the tombs themselves. The streets leading to the town center are also very close by. The breakfast was decent. Boiled eggs, cheese, sausage, yogurt, jam, honey, muesli/cereal. When we were the only guests left, they didn't set up the buffet, but they brought us the same items on trays that we would have picked ourselves. The room heating was provided by an air conditioner. It was perfectly adequate."
