I had an excellent stay at Beit Al Wali Hotel. What made my stay especially well was the amazing and competent staff that went above and beyond to make sure that I feel welcomed. As for the interior it is beautiful and has a very nice and calming atmosphere. Furthermore the breakfast offered is outstanding and very delicious! I highly recommend to anyone coming to Damascus to stay here, you will definitely not regret it!

It was very nice stay, and good food they provide , big salam to the owner Mr Edward, the hotel is always clean and they provide good services to there guests. Good reception as well and good fooooood! We will be back in couple of weeks for sure...

The owner is a scammer. We originally booked our rooms months ago at an agreed rate of $140 per night. After confirming, he contacted us to raise the price to $360. Later, he increased it by another $200 and threatened to cancel our reservation without a refund. He also said that there’s no guarantee that after paying we’ll even have a room when we get there.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel..it was an exceptional experience . the service was great , quick and seamless the staff were very friendly and professional the hotel truly represent old Damascus fine architecture and culture with its fine details that was highly maintained.

Vacation | Family The owner is a thief. I reserved two months ahead he said the room $140. Then he insisted on receiving $360 per room. Then one moth later he asked for two hundred more or you get canceled and loose your money. If the country was stable I would take him to court

The owner is trying to cheat us. We booked our rooms a few months ago on the agreed upon rate of $140 per room. After booking, he reached out and said that the rate was going to be $360 per room. He then returned and said that he was going to increase the rate by another $200 per room and threatened to cancel our reservation without refund if we don't pay.

The hotel is in the Old Town of Damascus. The hotel staff will know your name after the first night. Very attentive staff in the hotel and the restaurant. The rooms are well appointed and clean. The location is ideal for walking to tourist attractions and for visiting local eateries frequented by the locals. The area is safe and HTS is providing security to the region. If you are retiring to Damascus after the regime change, this is a great hotel to stay for your visit.
