The hotel environment is nice, and the monkeys roaming around in the trees in the hotel yard excited the children.

The room was spacious and even provided disposable toiletries. It was quiet at night. The room also had a key card for electricity, and the air conditioning and fan were on as soon as you entered, making it very comfortable. Breakfast was a Sri Lankan breakfast option, which was quite plentiful.

The hotel is one of the best in the area. The grounds are lovely with a pool, and the food is very tasty. My only complaint was that the menu prices don't include taxes; it was disappointing to be charged 30% more. But overall, everything was great: decent breakfasts, clean, and pleasant.

Reception staff really friendly. Room and bathroom was clean. Property could do with a bit of maintenance in places though. Also no safe available in room. Not many sunbeds around the pool. Samman provided us with 2 great tours. He was excellent and went above and beyond.
