Landhuis Daniel - Plantation House

I spent 9 very pleasant days at Landhuis Daniel. My room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly, ensuring a comfortable temperature and a good night's sleep. The country house is centrally located, making it very easy to explore the entire island. For the sporty types: a beautiful 2.5-hour hike starts in the backyard (see photos). What made my stay even more enjoyable was the restaurant. The cuisine is varied and offers something for everyone. I tasted a large part of the menu and everything was delicious. Breakfast was also very well taken care of (by a lovely lady) with a wide selection of fresh and tasty products to start the day off right. The coffee was delicious. Additionally, I would especially like to compliment the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, hospitable, and helpful. I felt truly welcome here. In short: a lovely stay with delicious food, a good breakfast, and a warm welcome. Definitely a place I would love to return to.

I've never had such a bad cappuccino; the apple cake was dry. Nice waitress, but the owner really needs to take a course on "how to deal with guests." What an incredibly rude man!

We komen er al jaren en we genieten steeds met volle teugen. De keuken is een van de besten van het eiland! Jan en zijn bemanning staan altijd voor je klaar. De appartementen en hotelkamers zijn eenvoudig maar zeer doeltreffend. Al met al een uitstekende accommodatie als je buiten de toeristische drukte van Curacao wilt genieten.

We hebben hier echt goed gegeten was top Gelijk voor de volgende dag weer gereserveerd. We hadden Indonesische rijsttafel. Geen spijt van. En zeer betaalbaar. Ook niet onbelangrijk. Hotels proberen op alle manieren om je onnodig veel te laten betalen.
