We are glad to have spent at least 1 evening in this hotel that we get to watch sunset & sunrise the next morning. It's the closest hotel to Jin Ding, so we get to see the top of the mountain before other tourists arrive. The room is very clean & the food is great there.
We were very lucky the weather was great with clear sky.

The second time that I booked a room at the top of the Wudang Mountains. Again I had a beautiful room with a nice view of the sunrise. Rooms are clean, not very spacious, but easily big enough for two persons. One thing most of the rooms have is an extra tea table, at the window. So you can sit there and enjoy the view and a cup of tea. The restaurant serves a variety of food, for breakfast there is a buffet with a variety of stir-fried vegetables, sausages, noodles, congee, buns soy milk and more. A good breakfast is important, if you hike then for a whole day in the Wudang Mountains. The staff was friendly and helpful and welcomed me warmly.

They gave me a nice room on my first day of stay but it is not very clean. The mat near the window is full of dust and sticky and I even found a little garbage on the mat. The next day they said I could not stay in the same room and kicked me to a room with the window facing the cable cars and the door near the reception where was noisy with people laughing and chatting. The bathroom is not up to standard with no shower door. I told them I could not accept that room which I paid for over 1,000 RMB a night. They said they could only provide anther room if I paid them extra money. I told them I could not accept it and would like to leave right away and asked trip.com for refund then they changed their mind and settled the case with a quiet room for me that night. The food was good but it was extremely expensive.

The location of Wudang Mountain Golden Summit VIP Building Hotel is super good. It is right at the exit of the mountain cableway. It is easy to find and convenient to check in! The window of the room faces due east, so you can watch the sunrise! There is also a small terrace in the hotel, which is also facing the sunrise due east. The layout is very artistic! Although there was heavy fog on the mountain on the day we went there and we didn’t see the sunset or sunrise, we lived here and it was very close to the Golden Summit. We climbed up early and the tourists from the bottom of the mountain hadn’t come up yet, so it was particularly good to take pictures of the Golden Summit. It's not too lively for everyone. Fortunately, I stayed at a hotel on the top of the mountain so I could catch the crowd early. The service in the hotel is very good. It has its own restaurant and the cooking is delicious!
