Hampton Inn & Suites Danville

It was wonderful & relaxing my daughter had a nice time for her birthday

Considerable mold in the shower. It’s hard to imagine how this has not yet been addressed bc it wasn’t just one spot, but multiple areas of the shower that had strings of mold. Also, the lobby refreshment cooler was without water and water from juice machine tasted off/moldy. Ended up having to go to gas station for water. Breakfast was fine, aside from shower, room was fairly clean.

Alice started breakfast early to help families trying to beat snowstorms. She’s outstanding.

The staff was extremely friendly, beds were comfortable, room was clean and breakfast was good except for the mystery gravy. I’m not sure if $326 is a fair market price for one night in a two bedroom suite for a depressed area. Felt like the hotel was price gouging because of the football game that was in town.

Requested ground floor when I booked online, they put me on 3rd floor. Didn’t even acknowledge my request. Not a great start.

The day staff was great. Our shower was gross. I had to buy Clorox and a small scrub brush. I took before and after pictures and showed person at the front desk and he was surprised. He did refund me a day. They are renovating so there are some issues associated with renovation.

I wish I was notified of pool/hot tub being closed for maintenence. Shower corners have a little mold growing. Towels had a unpleasant smell. The drawers to the dresser would not stay closed and I busted my leg on the open drawer several times. Tv remote was a little weird, I would press the channel up button and it would bounce back and forth between channels. I just turned it off and streamed on my phone for a bit before bed. I've stayed here several times, as I dont really trust other hotels in this area. The Hampton Hotel is overall clean and staff are always nice, I just think this specific room may be a bad experience.

Very comfortable,head staff Noah helped us solve a problem when we discovered that Danville, Illinois was where our reservation had been made by mistake and changed it to Danville, Kentucky. Found us the perfect solution.

The staff here is great and very helpful, and good breakfast. However the last 3 times the pool and hot tub were not working and this was very disappointing. There is no estimate on when or if will be repaired. This should not be listed as available on *******.
