The deluxe room was clean and well-maintained, with relatively new facilities. The overall living environment was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, and having an on-site restaurant made dining convenient. It's also not too far from Chinatown and Palm Cove.

This hotel is top-notch for Tanzania's capital. First and foremost, it's very safe, and the location is excellent. The room facilities are also great. There's really nothing else to complain about.

The environment is pretty good.

Guangdong Hotel (📍) Location: 5 km from the pier, 15 km from the airport, north of the city, less than 3 km from Chinatown. The location is slightly out of the way; it's a 15-minute walk to the beach (1 km). (🛀) Facilities: Toiletries, slippers, private bathroom, kettle, bottled water. The room isn't small, the facilities are quite new, and it's relatively clean and tidy. The air conditioning is very cool, and there's plenty of hot water. (👱♀️) Service: The Chinese owner is warm and attentive. (🍽) Dining: The Chinese breakfast selection is limited. Lunch and dinner are fixed-time 20,000 shillings (about 60 USD) set meals, which are quite good and taste great. (💰) Price: $50 per night including breakfast from December 31, 2025 to January 4, 2025. (🎊) Value for money: Fairly good value. (🇨🇳) Review: 📶 The Wi-Fi signal is okay, but the signal in Tanzania has always been weak; this isn't just a problem with one provider, especially when uploading videos. There are power outlets and light switches by the bedside, which is very convenient.

The best Chinese guesthouse in Dar es Salaam. The rooms are brand new, the breakfast is delicious, and the owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. No need to search or compare other guesthouses, just stay here.
