It was alright, thanks a lot. The food is an acquired taste. There were cockroaches. The staff was okay.

Extended my stay due to flight issue. This time booking is another room type. And I feel that they should clean up their air-con frequently. They claim that they do monthly cleaning which I don’t believe. Look at the picture.

A good hotel for its price range with a beautiful view of Dar es Salaam port. The room was clean, exactly as pictured and described. A well-deserved 4-star rating. We needed a room for an overnight stay before our safari and booked a room with breakfast. The breakfast wasn't varied, but it was enough to fill you up. Upon returning from the safari, we requested an extension with late check-out for an additional fee. The staff were friendly. City attractions are within walking distance. Taxis are easy to find near the hotel. Overall, we are satisfied.

It was a great location and close to the Harbour so I found no trouble catching my ferry to Zanzibar and the staff were so friendly as well.

Breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30. At 6:30, the restaurant was locked, there was no staff, no food. Food, which was served 15 minutes later, was horrible. At 9:30pm, the manager knocked on my door asking to request that I write a good review. The room had mouldy smell and the window was locked and I couldn't open. I found a few cockroaches in the room.

Pros The location is excellent. The room is spacious and well-equipped with a kettle, refrigerator, and other useful amenities. The food at the hotel was better than what I had at other hotels in Tanzania. If I visit Dar es Salaam, Tanzania again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this hotel. It would be my first choice. Cons The staff were not particularly friendly or attentive. That said, they were not unfriendly either. The service was simply average.
