Beautiful and clean resort. Lovely and close to the beach and with so much to do inside and so much nearby outside. Pools are stunning and there are lots of loungers so no need to fight over them or have to get up incredibly early to secure one! Staff are incredibly friendly and more happy to help with any issues. WiFi connection is also really strong.

First time all inclusive. Great hotel and facilities. Staff were excellent. The level of cleanliness was outstanding. Food and drinks were very good value and varied. Pools (3) very very clean and the towelling system worked fine. Going to be coming back here again.

Beautiful hotel, with a very nice garden. We had the junior suite which was great. With our own swimming pool, quiet area. There are 3 pools. Compliments for Alexandra at the reception, always a smile and a good help for local questions. The food always enough and good quality. We had a top holiday

Beautiful hotel with sweet and friendly staff from the cleaning crew to the garden keeper to the reception and restaurant manager - and especially the mini disco for the younger visitor! He loved the clown and Peter in the mini club and pilates class was perfect to start the day. My 5 year old was excited that Peter always remembered his name and he considered Them very good friends. “The clown”, he Said, “I want to be like him when I grow up”. Lovely swimmingpool areas, quiet or busy but always with free sunbeds! Love the food, good variety for a buffet all Inclusive. We bought some swimming pads from the store onsite and they broke on day three. The lady Said she could not Exchange Them and so we had better service from the mini Market close by the main Road. For the adults I need beer and Wine by the rooms across the street during the day. Plus; I Got a sunburned tummy but I don’t Think I Can blame the hotel for this ;) We are very pleased and would love to return any time ❤️

The best hotel in Greece we have ever been! Accomodation and the whole stay (10 days) was the best vacation in our lives. Big garden full of flowers on every step. Room was clean and bed was comfy ( a bit to hard but it depends on personal preference ). The emergency light i guess was a bit too bright so You couldn't have entirely darkness in room while sleeping but it isn't big issue and i bet it depends on room You get. Pool, animations and drinks on the highest levels. Food was outstanding ( except breakfasts which were a bit monotonous but it's a Greece thing so we weren't expecting much). I highly recommend this Hotel for everyone

So many positives about the Althea Village. The hotel is set out just like a village, with pathways leading to small blocks. The grounds are well maintained, spotless plants and greenery always looking in the best condition. 3 pools, plus children's sections. Always sunbeds available, no early morning routine of placing towels to reserve. Plenty of space around the pools, so you are not crammed in. Pools are a good size, and a good depth. Food as all inclusive, their is breakfast, lunch and dinner, menu is varied and enough choice to suit most people. Snack bar also open during the day from 11 to 5. Drinks these are all inclusive drinks, the bar does serve premium/international drinks which you do have to pay for. Rooms, are all different, depending on occupancy numbers. Some have balconies or terraces. But all rooms are well decorated. the Beds are very comfortable. Rooms come with safety deposit box and fridge. All the staff are a big positive for the hotel, everything is done with the guest happiness and comfort in mind. The Entertainment team work hard to put on activities and entertainment during the day and evening. The hotel has a Gift Shop, Spa and Gym. Surrounding area has bars, tavernas, shops, less than 5 minutes away. Chania beaches, are only a 15 minute walk away, or you can take the bus from the main road. The beaches have sunbeds, parasols, showers WC's and bars. Transport, buses take you into Chania in 20 minutes. One bus passes the front the of the hotel, both bus routes 15 and 21 go along the main road, at the stop next to the BMW garage has a ticket machine or you can purchase on the bus, or buying on the app. If I visit Chania again, then yes I would stay at the Althea Village again.

Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience. The food was great, the staff was friendly and the place was big enough, with a lot of pools and nice looking architecture. The area around looks pretty. You can take the bus to Chania from the BMW station. It’s very cheap and comfortable. You also have a Lidl around and some other supermarkets. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The problem was that we booked 7 nights through an agency and in the first day we haven’t slept at Althea, because they made a mistake with the availability of the room. So we slept to another 4 star hotel within an awful room. And the other day we had to move back to Althea. Long story short, we payed for 7 nights, but we stayed 6. If it wasn’t for this, I would have said it was absolutely perfect.

A very good hotel for both young and old. Great food and wonderful staff here at the hotel. It is also close to grocery stores and a nice walk to the sea. Very nice rooms and a very good job every day by the cleaners. So I really think that if you want to have a very pleasant time on Crete, this is a very good choice.
