The Sea Ranch Resort
"My visit was average. Front desk person (AA male evening shift) was very pleasant. My room was okay however my sister's room was unpleasantly odorous with an unexpected portable humidifier in the room. We enjoyed our breakfast in the hotel restaurant and the waitress was very nice. The wedding food was just okay. The hotel needs to definitely upgrade overall."
Scarborough Inn
Lighthouse View Oceanfront Lodging
"Perfect place in Outerbanks. Enjoyed the secluded and private beach. Excellent sunrise view.. Perfect place for families with kids and pets."
John Yancey Oceanfront Inn
"They booked two four-person rooms in two hotels. However, they were unable to arrange isolation rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors. As a result, the electronic lock on the first floor was broken. It took a lot of time to go back and forth before finally arranging for us to change rooms. If the room you change is in another building The room is tidy and the bathroom is very big and clean Friendly front desk and rich breakfast with many choices "
Mia's Boutique Hotel
"The room was very clean and well-equipped. It was also very close to the Bund, the beach, and the National Coastal Park."
Heart of Manteo
"The rooms are very basic and have an old-school charm. Our room was satisfactorily clean and had an air purifier in addition to the heat/ac unit, which was appreciated. A hair dryer is provided as well as liquid hand soap and body wash mounted on the walls. No suitcase stand is provided but there is one chair in the room. Check in was easy and we left the door keys on the dresser at checkout. Our room was located around the back of the motel where it seemed that there were long-term guests that were loud late into the evenings and early in the mornings while the front of the motel appeared to be mostly empty, but the location on Manteo was nice and we were able to walk to several nearby stores and restaurants."
Holiday Inn Express NAGS HEAD OCEANFRONT by IHG
"Very comfortable feeling"
Hilton Garden Inn Outer Banks/Kitty Hawk
Shutters on the Banks
"My wife and I went to the Outer Banks for a day and a half adventure that involved needing a hotel room. I chose shutters based on being located near one of the music venues we would be visiting. We are both free pleased with our stay. It was of course in the winter and off-season so we didn’t have any crowds anywhere which was perfect for us. It was everything we needed and expected and nothing we didn’t need. It was perfect."

Hatteras Island Inn
"Great price. Room was outdated but very clean and staff was very friendly. It was close to amenities. Very comfotable room. We would book again."
Hotel Manteo, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
TownePlace Suites Outer Banks Kill Devil Hills
Colonial Inn
"Our stay was fine with the exception of someone from the office knocking on our door a half hour prior to the time to check out to see if we were going to check out (which we were in the process of packing and almost done). We felt that was rude especially since I had already taken some luggage to our vehicle."
The Sanderling
Outer Banks Inn
Roanoke Island Inn
"This was our first stay at the Inn and we loved it! The room was comfortable and convenient to nearby shopping, restaurants and peaceful boardwalk. The Innkeeper, Lee, was phenomenal! The owners has done a great job maintaining the authenticity of the atmosphere of an Inn. We will be back!"
Blue Heron Motel
Pamlico Station Edgecamp
"This is a very unusual hotel. There is no lobby, no check-in desk, no people. The only interior spaces are the rooms themselves. After you book online, the hotel emails you a code to open the door to your assigned room. If you have any questions or concerns, you text a (very responsive) concierge. It's basically an Airbnb in the form of a hotel. I loved it. The rooms themselves are spacious and beautifully apportioned. Even the most basic room has a kitchen with a refrigerator, oven, and stove, plus a comfy couch, a television, and a dining area. The WiFi is strong and reliable. There is an outdoor wellness deck with a sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge. The whole place looks and feels spotless and brand new (because it is). The location and setting are fabulous. The beach is just blocks away. There's a pizzeria across the road. They offer a discount on the booking rate to North Carolina residents. If you're looking for an uncomplicated, no-fuss place to stay in Rodanthe, this is it."
Outer Banks Beach Club
Comfort Inn on the Ocean
"It's okay in all aspects."
