"Stayed for 8 nights in an Executive Apartment. Luckily got a room on the 14th floor so great. The facilities were superb. Having a restaurant and bar on site was very good . The choice of food was good and the staff were very attentive. The pool was awesome. Did not use the gym but looked very well equipped. Easy access to downtown but we took an uber to the waterfront."

"Nice fairly centrally located hotel. Away from the noisier streets so don’t get much party noise. Very short walk into centre town and Woolworths. Apartments catches the breeze which is great. Nice and spacious, showers warm and comfy bed. Would stay again."

"A rather well located hotel just off Mitchell Street, where all the city's clubs and restaurants are. A nice room at first glance that looked clean, however upon inspection the underside of the bed had not been vacuumed and there were objects from previous occupants (hairbrush and even a fork??)...very unhygienic. For the price I'd say it's ok..."

Mantra on the Esplanade Darwin

"Mantra on the Esplanade worked well for us for the three nights we stayed. Close to the main shops and eateries so plenty of choice there, with a free bus to the large out of town shopping centre too. The room was clean and tidy though a little dated. We were at the back of the hotel which meant the music and noise from the pubs and clubs nearby could be heard til quite late though it didn’t keep us awake."

"The hotel is old but I enjoyed our stay. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful . The place is very clean. No problem is too hard for staff to deal with. The owner is pleasant to talk with and Soo helpful "

"Location was perfect however we weren't aware that the pool area was out of service for the duration of our stay and being in Darwin we would have booked elsewhere if we knew prior. Price was good though. If your a smoker the only smirking area was out the front of the hotel with nothing but an ashtray."

"Noisy neighbours. One family next to me was just staying that night to make a kind of “party”. No noise restrictions. Other guest was yelling all night and day without any kind of attention call. The room was ok for the value but the feeling of insecurity is not acceptable. Looks like the local people took over the hotel. Reception ceiling big a huge penetration above the receptionist making a very bad first impression."

"A simple well equipped room. The location was a bit of a walk from the centre, probably to long at night. The swimming pool was going green, requires chlor shoc and filtration, the TV wouldn't give me any live TV but many apps shown on screen! Very frustrating. But apart from these issues the room was ideal for our needs and the early access was excellent, thank you."
