"First of all, the room at the hotel, which we booked based on reviews, was very poorly maintained and incredibly cramped. There was neither a kettle nor a cup in the room. Naturally, they charged us for the tea and coffee we drank, which is why they didn't provide a kettle in the first place. Around 10 or 11 pm, they lock the kitchen cabinets; if you want something to drink or eat, it's closed. We even had to look for a market in the middle of the night. At least, if you're not going to provide a kettle, you shouldn't charge for a single cup of tea. Be aware of these things before choosing this hotel. Also, parking is incredibly problematic; this is a heads-up for those arriving by car."

"Before coming to Gölmar Datça Hotel, like many people, we first read the comments and came even though the negative comments left a question mark in people's minds. Three people welcomed us at the reception: a long-haired man, a gray-haired man and a curvy lady, they did not have name tags. It was a polite and very warm welcome at the entrance. We went to our room, the hotel garden, the corridors are quite clean, the rooms are beautiful, I think all rooms except the first floors see the sea. The pool is quite big, there was not much crowd anyway, the two-storey camellias by the pool are very well thought out, beautiful and useful for families with children. When we got bored, we went to the pool with slides. When we got bored there, we went to the small playground in the grass area. Meal hours can be extended by another half hour. The restaurant location is very nice, having tables by the pool is very good, the breakfast is very nice, hot varieties were quite a lot. There is a very warm and friendly atmosphere in the hotel. We encountered almost no negativities. They always have desserts for lunch and dinner. They were the same or very similar to each other. Watermelon was constant at noon and evening, melon might also appear from time to time. Employees had little dialogue with holidaymakers, for example, even if it was on the last day, they could at least encourage people to comment. Everyone is now reading the comments and coming back. Social media should be used better, Instagram pages should be up-to-date, messages should be responded to quickly, because the hotel It doesn't get the score it deserves. It's really ridiculous that the beach bar is paid, because the hotel bar is so close, why should you pay to buy drinks there? It should be free for those staying at the hotel. At the same time, the hotel needs to be promoted very well. I think it is the only hotel in Datça with a seaside aquapark. Thank you to the entire team for giving us a very nice holiday."

"The hotel was nice and the staff were very helpful. The beach and sea were amazing, but the umbrellas were a bit small, making it hard to get enough shade from the sun. The first room we were given was tiny, but when we asked the staff to change it, they immediately helped us move to a larger room. The room itself was lovely, though the only issue was a smell in the bathroom in the evenings. Other than that, the breakfast was great with plenty of variety. The facilities were also good."

"It was our second stay here. We had stayed 3 years ago which was also great but now it is even better. Most of the staff are new and they are doing a great job. Service is quite fast even when all the tables are full. For the breakfast, there is a standard plate with an addition of hot meals which vary every day and some watermelon. The portions are sufficient and keep you full until noon. Rooms are always clean and tidied up. Water bottles were kept renewed in the minibar. There are also different teas and coffee available in the room. Our special thanks go to Alican who made our trip memorable. We had our plan for the whole trip but we still needed some advice for some places as it has been a while. He recommended excellent places and some tips to make things easier for us. When he saw us, he always asked our plan for the day and suggested alternative stops on the way. If you don't have any plans, do not hesitate to get in touch with him as he has a broad knowledge about the area and nearby locations (maybe more!). I would strongly recommend everyone to stay here and enjoy their time in lovely Datca."
