Shenxian Inn

Since it was already late in the evening, my family and I stayed here for one night. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our experience. The hotel was dirty, the service was poor, and they even required a security deposit. Although it was advertised as a hotel, it did not meet the standards we expected. There was no TV remote, the air conditioner remote was broken, the disposable towels were not individually wrapped, and the wardrobe was covered in dust, making it unpleasant to use. We booked a non-smoking room, but the first room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We asked to change rooms, but the second room had the same cigarette smell. If you are considering staying at this hotel, I would recommend thinking twice before booking.

The location is convient and the room is large. The bed isnt the most comfortable. The reception is a bjt difficult to find it is located opposite the large apartment building that you will be staying in.

We stayed in a clean modern apartment in a high-rise building. Everything worked as expected. We had a good view towards the south suburban area of the city, but just outside the apartment next to the elevators, we could get a good view on the city center — especially nice at night when the city is lit up. The staff at the reception (located in a restaurant just outside the apartment building) was kind and helpful not only with managing the reservation itself but also helping contact a tourist attraction. We had dinner at the restaurant where the reception is, and can recommend that too, both for great local taste and very cheap prices.

Location is embedded within a residential or mixed-use building, with Datong Parkson Shopping Center (760 m) 9–10 minute walk, Xingmaohui VIVO Park (820 m) 10–11 minute walk, Yongtai Gate Square (970 m) 12–13 minute walk, and the Ancient City Tourist Cultural Area (1.3 km) 16–18 minute walk. Facilities were partial rather than comprehensive, including Wi-Fi, basic toiletries, air conditioning, and a kitchenette without utensils, while hot water relied on a small-capacity electric heater that limited shower duration. Cleanliness and comfort were inconsistent, with a noticeable cigarette smell in the bed and limited sound insulation, as elevator noise and conversations were audible despite distance. Check-in was efficient even late at night, and communication with the operator was available 24 hours via WeChat. A return stay would not be considered due to the overall imbalance.

It is a good place to stay and the view is really good. The space is big and I think it is worth it. There were some details with the facilities that were broken but nothing to worried. The attention is really good

The room is spacious, large, modern, has a washing machine and a refrigerator, although the hosts are kind and helpful, there is a special lock on the door.
