Easily one of the best hotel stays I have experienced in my life. The hospitality here sets an entirely new standard. I was initially a bit hesitant about the hotel being located underground, but those worries disappeared the moment I stepped inside. The interior design is remarkably sleek and modern—the lighting and aesthetic decor completely transform the space so that you never feel like you are underground at all. The attention to detail in the rooms is fantastic. Everything is fitted with high-end, thoughtful amenities, including a Dyson hairdryer, a smart home assistant robot you can talk to, and a top-of-the-line smart toilet packed with features. What truly elevates this place is the warmth and care from the owner and staff. The boss was exceptionally polite and friendly, even going out of his way to pick us up directly from the station. It is rare to find hospitality that makes you feel so genuinely cared for and completely at home. I will definitely be returning whenever I visit Datong again. A huge thank you to the boss and the entire team for an unforgettable stay! Highly recommended to anyone traveling through the area.

Great service, and the owner is very reliable. They prepared a lot of snacks and welcome fruits, which is perfect for someone like me who eats small meals and gets hungry for snacks in between. Overall, the cleanliness was good.

Really great service, beautiful home vibes near the South Gate of the ancient city. Only stayed a night and didn’t have enough time to enjoy the property. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Recommend this hotel.

Traveling to Datong, I was initially hesitant about booking a B&B, but I decided to give Jiuheli a try for one night, and I was really pleasantly surprised. First, the owner was incredibly warm and helpful. Besides the pickup service, they even took our luggage to our next hotel when we checked out, saving us the trouble of going back to pick it up – so thoughtful! Second, the toiletries were L'Occitane, the hairdryer was a Dyson, and the complimentary snacks were from Sam's Club – all great quality! Finally, the B&B is in a quiet spot despite being in a bustling area, so it was very peaceful at night, and the environment and hygiene were also good! I'll definitely book here again next time I bring my family.

Jiu Heli is absolutely fantastic! The owner personally provides pick-up and drop-off service, and the young lady at the front desk is incredibly kind and enthusiastic. The environment and service in all aspects are truly excellent 👍. They even provide high-end L'Occitane toiletries and DeYou face towels and bath towel sets.
