Mithi Resort & Spa ★★★★
"One of my favorite hotel in Bohol"
Bayview Garden Resort ★★★
"New hotel well placed between main land and beaches of panglao. Look into renting your own transport as there is nothing in walking distance."
Natura Vista ★★
"Perfect for exploring the island by motorbike and for diving. It's cheap to get to Tagbilaran port by taxi. It's far from the hustle and bustle, quiet, comfortable, and there's an almost deserted, beautiful free beach just a couple of minutes' walk away, perfect for watching the sunset. They have their own motorbike rental – the bikes are across the road in a secure parking lot, with a large selection of almost new bikes with good tires, and the price is negotiable and competitive. There's a gas station nearby. On the main road, there are grocery stores and fruit stalls. You can drive from anywhere on the island at night on perfect asphalt roads, stopping at shops and eating local dishes by the roadside. Just around the corner, 5 kilometers away, there's cheap diving at Montara Diving for 2200 pesos; it's very convenient to get there by motorbike in the morning. You can bring your own mask for free. Not far from the shore, there's a drop-off into deep water with beautiful corals, turtles, and lots of fish – the water is perfectly clear. The general room has air conditioning, an excellent shower, and decent bed linen. Breakfast is hearty and tasty. The staff are friendly. I recommend it if you're on a motorbike."
Bohol Bee Farm ★★★
"Panglao Island offers a wide selection of hotels and apartments, but we chose this one because its name caught our attention. While the hotel is a bit tired, it's certainly unique: all the rooms have names, not numbers, and are spread throughout the complex. Considering many visitors come on tours exploring the history of honey and ice cream, they don't disturb the guests at all. The hotel and restaurant staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Breakfasts aren't huge like in luxury hotels, but they're filling, and there's plenty to choose from. The grounds are well-kept, the decor is well-maintained, and there are plenty of flowers. The pool with parrots is excellent, the ice cream is delicious, and the sea is simply stunning. While it's relatively far from Alona Beach, this makes for a more relaxed and leisurely vacation. I think if they do a minor cosmetic renovation of the rooms and address the dampness issues, I'll definitely stay there on my next trip to Panglao and Bohol. I'd also like to give a special mention to the massage parlor and especially to their therapist, Raymun, who provides excellent muscle and back therapy."
The Mayana Resort ★★★
"Beautiful hotel in Bohol. Nice rooms and good food. Excellent service. Perfect for a relaxing weekend or even longer. Good to explore Bohol island."
Bohol Shores ★★★★★
"We were so happy with our 4 nights at Bohol Shores. We loved the pool. It was nice and spacious for my girls to swim around in. The pool villa was also very nice and we loved the shallow access to the pool. The shower pressure and temperature wasn’t great at first but when we requested repair, they efficiently replaced the nozzle to make a larger spout and also made the temperature much hotter. So we were very impressed with their proactive approach to make us happy. All the staff are so kind and friendly and accommodating and helped us book drivers etc. It’s a short walk to the ocean but it’s rocky not very beach like but had amazing sea life like hermit crabs and interesting shells which we didn’t see as much at the beaches. Then the hotel arranged a 10 min Tuk Tuk where we went to Dumaluan beach and enjoyed a family beach day. We entered Dumaluan through the Dumaluan beach resort (100 pesos per person). In my opinion Dumaluan beach is much better than Alona beach. More space to swim and less crowded. The location is also walking distance to the Bohol Bee Farm which we enjoyed eating lunch at. All in all, we are very happy with this resort and would recommend it!"
Island Tiki Paradise Resort ★
"I really liked this hotel, we were so well received, the staff was very friendly, during our week here we got so used to these people that we almost became family. Thank you very much. There is a swimming pool, a bar, good breakfasts are included, there are coolers with water. The houses are very cozy, the atmosphere of a village, roosters are crowing. The beach is not walking distance, but we took a bike and rode around the island. The hotel is not for the demanding, but for its money it is very good 👍🏼"
RedDoorz @ Happy Stay Apartelle ★
"the room was very big cleaned and there was a kitchen and utensils that we can use"
Epic Suites Bohol (Adults-only) ★★★
"That's the end of our stay at this hotel in the executive suite. What we liked: Hotel location; Gorgeous landscapes from the room window; Pool area; Spacious swimming pool; Spacious room; The pool is properly planned; Very cute dogs and cats. They cheered us up.; The staff is very polite and tries to help with everything.; Relaxing massage; There was oatmeal on the breakfast menu, which is rare in the Philippines.; Your requests are being listened to. What didn't you like: A small selection of paid breakfast. There is no buffet and you need to choose from the menu. But you can only choose 1 dish and drink for each one. In other words, don't expect to try even a couple of dishes for prepaid money. Here you can choose only 1 dish for breakfast. The rest is paid. It became clear only on the 3rd day of the stay, as they could not understand how the breakfast system worked. We were charged 390 Philippine pesos for SPAM (or rather, three slices of local ham). It's expensive for this kind and quantity of food. •On the last day, the cost of paying for a fruit plate increased. It was 350 pesos, it became 400. •When ordering tom yam, we asked for additional shrimp (+250 pesos). We were served soup with 7 shrimp halves. We still haven't figured out how many shrimps there would have been without the extra ones we paid for. 🙈We thought they forgot to add additional ones. Then we saw the bill and additional shrimps were deposited. •Few seafood dishes. Considering that you are 50 meters from the sea. There are also few products with vegetables. We suffered because of this. There was no light food. •The leaves in each salad were stale. •Service fees were from everything. We understand when the service fee is for food, but we still don't understand why the fee was for a massage. That is, the fee for the massage + the service FEE for the massage. •There were also fees for filming shark swimming on our phone. We also did not understand why the fee, if the tour itself cost 7,500 pesos + 300 pesos was a service fee (again, we do not understand why it is not included in the total cost of the tour) + 260 pesos for shooting on the phone; I was disappointed that when booking an excursion to swim with sharks for 7,500 pesos, fishing was included, but no one offered it to us. They just took us, we swam and brought it back. They say the tour took 5 hours, but it was two and a half hours. •Hand soap has not been refilled in two days; • The automatic circulation of water in the pool was rarely turned on, so we swam with flies for two days... trying to catch them from there; •The performers were an hour late for the first tour, and 30 minutes late for the second. We don't understand why our time wasn't respected. • One shower wasn't working. There was no water coming out of it; • Often they didn't bring half of the dish. That is, if you ordered a meat plate with grapes, cheese and crackers, be prepared that I may not bring you crackers, but there will be 3 pieces of cheese. That's for 590 pesos. We ordered this plate twice, and two times we didn't get any crackers. The second time we asked and they informed us. Also, when ordering mashed potatoes with chicken, they brought us chicken without mashed potatoes. We asked and were informed. Everything was already cold. They didn't add a banana to the banana pancakes. Unfortunately, curtains are not blackout, for those who cannot sleep without them, bring a sleep mask. I write absolutely all the little things, as I am very careful about the service. I really liked this hotel. In any case, I recommend it wholeheartedly. After all, they communicate politely with you here, there are gorgeous views from a spacious room, and there is a large swimming pool. But I have to write down the little things so that the management can improve the quality of service so that staying at this hotel leaves only positive emotions for absolutely everyone! After all, the hotel is really beautiful!"

Villa de Gloria
"The hotel grounds are cozy, with beautiful views. The breakfasts are decent, but the selection is limited. The owner is very welcoming. The descent to the sea was not very pleasant; there were waves, making the water murky. We didn't buy anything. There are bikes for rent. The roof of the little house is made of thatch and has cracks, so insects were frequent visitors. One night, a huge beetle swooped down on me. It seems a lizard lives in the room on the roof. This is what caused the constant rustling on the ceiling. I couldn't sleep well the first night because of all this."
Bohol Emerelle's Tourist Inn
"Nice & lovely the stuff"
Sherwood Bay Resort & Aqua Sports
"I can say it was the best place in my life. Staff there is very friendly, they can help with anything. Just for this reason I am advising you to visit it. And the view in real life is better. And I think ypu can not to find a better combination of price and service. Enid is a hotel holder and her accent english is super warm and perfect."
D & B Bluestar Beach Resort
"Great location. Just a step from the beach. You can watch the sunsets accompanied by birdsong. Breakfasts are delicious. The staff is wonderful. Great value for money. Cons: Transportation accessibility. Tuk-tuks are more expensive than taxis. But Grab solves this problem. Although sometimes you have to wait for a taxi. I've never regretted choosing this hotel!"
La Pernela Beachfront Resort
"Strongly not recommended, the room is damp, has a strong musty smell, and the location is remote, not ordinary remote. The key is that they do not provide vehicle transportation. In the end, they will call you a car and charge a fee. Strongly not recommended, you were deceived"
LaVeranda Beach Resort
"A quiet place Private grounds with parking and a swimming pool. There's access to the sea, but it's for fishermen; the water is murky and the entry is awkward. Wi-Fi is available at reception. We stayed in a cottage with two large beds. The room was quite spacious. Breakfast was included: rice, a drink, scrambled eggs, and either ham or sausage. It was sparse, but it was there."
Sapphire Boutique Resort
"The service is okay, Environment: average Health: OK Facilities: General"
Terreza's Place
"The location is very quiet because the hotel is a bit out of the way. It's best to rent a scooter to get everywhere. The facilities are OK by Philippine standards. There is a pool in the courtyard. Clean water! It's a bit of a walk to the next beach."
Hidden Coral Beach Club & Resort
"The hotel area is quite nice, a beautiful view of the ocean and we could see sunsets here, but the amenities are a bit complicated, one night we simply had no water. The pool is not particularly cleaned, and it is better not to take breakfast, we went once and did not go again"
