Bayview Garden Resort ★★★
"A peaceful oasis at the end of road/bridge to nowhere. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pool was very clean and surrounding gardens very tidy and cared for. Room had view to the sea and was very comfortable. A great spot to start and finish your day visit to Bohol gems. A must, visit Bohol Chocolate Farm."
Mithi Resort & Spa ★★★★
"Very fun premice love it"
Bohol Bee Farm ★★★
"Panglao Island offers a wide selection of hotels and apartments, but we chose this one because its name caught our attention. While the hotel is a bit tired, it's certainly unique: all the rooms have names, not numbers, and are spread throughout the complex. Considering many visitors come on tours exploring the history of honey and ice cream, they don't disturb the guests at all. The hotel and restaurant staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Breakfasts aren't huge like in luxury hotels, but they're filling, and there's plenty to choose from. The grounds are well-kept, the decor is well-maintained, and there are plenty of flowers. The pool with parrots is excellent, the ice cream is delicious, and the sea is simply stunning. While it's relatively far from Alona Beach, this makes for a more relaxed and leisurely vacation. I think if they do a minor cosmetic renovation of the rooms and address the dampness issues, I'll definitely stay there on my next trip to Panglao and Bohol. I'd also like to give a special mention to the massage parlor and especially to their therapist, Raymun, who provides excellent muscle and back therapy."

"There are some bugs, but... Considering that it's the Philippines, this is more than enough! The neighborhood is small, so it's good for walking and safe."

Sherwood Bay Resort & Aqua Sports
"Best service. Best owner. Best vacation. Nine people, including my sister-in-law, and two families, stayed here for four nights in Panglao and the remaining five nights. Before checking in, my youngest son and I rented a motorbike and went on a field trip. It was a long way from Panglao, and the road was partly unpaved. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a quiet, beautiful pool that seemed to merge with the horizon. While the lack of nearby shops was disappointing, we were able to easily navigate the city by renting a motorbike and the owner's kindness (she even gave us a ride to the main road). The ride back to the hotel from the supermarket was no problem, as there were many cars and tuk-tuks. Breakfast was prepared by the landlady herself. It was simple but delicious (white rice, garlic rice, a choice of fried eggs, scrambled eggs, an omelet, fish, sausage, bacon, a choice of juice, and coffee). She even added more rice and side dishes if needed. We ordered lunch via Grab or bought some at the grocery store and brought our own 3-liter Dami Cooker (under 30,000 won on Coupang) to make rice, stew, and other dishes. There's a private barbecue area by the pool or beach. For just 500 pesos, you'll get charcoal, a grill (grill, chicken stock, detergent), various sauces, scissors, a knife, and tongs. You only need to purchase gloves at the grocery store. Of course, you can also pre-order alcohol and drinks at the grocery store. Exit the resort, turn left, follow the dirt road for about 10 minutes, and you'll find a small shop on the right. Beer is a bit pricey at 55 pesos, so it's better to buy it at the main island supermarket. The fireflies on the trees near the resort parking lot at night were a sight I hadn't seen in 50 years. We were mesmerized by them every day. By the beach next to the barbecue area, there were half fish, half conch, and half crab. After repeatedly catching and releasing the conch, we ended up boiling and eating the uniquely shaped conch. Our room at Saein Resort, which resembled a German house, was on the first floor, with three rooms connected on the second floor, which the kids loved. The pool is also arranged from shallow to deep, and at night, if you ask, they'll turn on the lights, allowing you to lie down and gaze at the starry sky. When we were there, we were the only ones staying, so it felt like a pool villa. With a motorbike, there's no inconvenience at all. The owner (a British grandmother) drove us to a massage place on the main island. It cost 500 pesos for the whole body, and it was the cheapest and best massage I've had in my countless trips to Southeast Asia (an hour and a half). You have to be careful about how strong, medium, or weak it is to make it less painful. But even though it hurt, it was addictive and wonderful. There were some stray dogs there (two of them never bite, and they like people). We gave them leftover food, and they obeyed us. I thought they were there because of us. In the back of the kitchen, there were Coco, Orange, and three cute cats (they're so cute). While we were swimming in the pool, the owner cut up a mango for us to eat individually. It was delicious. This was my third time in Bohol. Of the three times, this was the happiest. The most relaxing, quiet, and well-equipped. A kind British grandmother (she used to live in Japan and speaks Japanese fluently) It's been three days since I returned to Seoul, and I want to go back again. I'm already looking forward to next year."
Riverduplex - luxury duplex at a fair price
"This place was one of the best. We had everything we needed in the house and more. Even shnorkels and life vests, we rented the car stright from the owner. They have pool cleanner on a dauly base. We will be back."
Bohol Shores
"My family and I had such a great time staying at Bohol Shores. The room is clean and well maintained plus they serve delicious meals at their restaurant. But most importantly, i appreciate the hotel's staff from the front office, restaurant to housekeeping because they are all accomodating and attentive. I will definitely stay at this resort again if I'll be having vacation here in Bohol."
Island Tiki Paradise Resort
"Lively staff who are very kind."
D & B Bluestar Beach Resort
"Great location. Just a step from the beach. You can watch the sunsets accompanied by birdsong. Breakfasts are delicious. The staff is wonderful. Great value for money. Cons: Transportation accessibility. Tuk-tuks are more expensive than taxis. But Grab solves this problem. Although sometimes you have to wait for a taxi. I've never regretted choosing this hotel!"
Terreza's Place
"The location is very quiet because the hotel is a bit out of the way. It's best to rent a scooter to get everywhere. The facilities are OK by Philippine standards. There is a pool in the courtyard. Clean water! It's a bit of a walk to the next beach."
Villa de Gloria
"Highly Recommended this place. Nice sunset View, Spacious Room, Also i love the breakfast. The ambiance of this place is so relaxing. The staff ia friendly. I will come back again this month with my friend. Time to relax again. Free yourself from stress and have some fresh air to breath."
Flushing Meadows Resorts & Playground

Epic Suites Bohol (Adults-only)
"I have to say that this resort truly exceeded my expectations, and it was absolutely worth the price. The resort is perched on a seaside cliff, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean from the balcony. Its location is quite secluded and private, making it less convenient for going out and exploring. However, the facilities and atmosphere within the resort are so enjoyable that you probably won't feel the need to leave. The resort features a restaurant, spa, gym, private pool in the room, and a balcony overlooking the sea. One of the highlights for me was the animals—there are more than 20 rescued cats and two rescued dogs cared for by the resort owners. They are well looked after, very clean, and incredibly friendly. The service was exceptional. The staff were attentive, patient, and professional, providing a level of hospitality comparable to that of a luxury five-star hotel. The personalized service felt very much like having a private butler throughout the stay. Overall, I highly recommend this resort and would definitely return in the future. It was a memorable and enjoyable experience from start to finish. :)"
Bohol Vantage Resort
"Wonderful staff. No apparent capital improvement budget. While this property features some of the best views of the ocean, Tagbilaran, the sea port and beyond, the hotel is out dated and desperately needs to be updated. The first time I met the owner, Hanno, he was very friendly. But afterwards he was not very friendly or social, even to the point of not returning a hello or good morning gesture. With an aggressive improvement program, this could be one of the premier properties on the Panglao Island."
