"We booked a night as we went to a concert at Hershey. It was clean and when checking I , staff was friendly. However, We were a bit appalled during our breakfast . We got down to breakfast area and there was hardly any food. They had no juice in the machines and a woman kept saying to all of the customers that breakfast was over, which it was at the time we were sitting. As we sat there eating the little that was out, a group came in and sat down. The woman in charge got all this breakfast food out and put it on their table to eat. Food that looked like it was what could’ve been served to customers that were turned down. We kept staring in aw and the woman came over and told us that employees were being fed and if we wanted any of that food we could go get some. She said it was Indian food that she wasn’t allowed to serve to customers. Our opinion was is that it was her family being served food that customers were turned away from. Not a good look or feel of this situation. Other than that, stay was pleasant"

"The atmosphere was homey. The place has many areas to lounge and chat. We liked the rocking chairs on the porches. The kids love the barn and seeing the horses. There is a very friendly cat. The breakfasts were excellent, but a touch "foofoo"; a couple of the adults would have preferred pancakes, waffles, or something more traditional. There were cookies and coffee cake out at all times. Also, popcorn, pretzels, jug wine, beer, and water were always included and available. The rooms were nice, and the staff was very friendly, including the chef!"

"Reasonable price. Convenient location near the highway for a base. The breakfast is excellent value for the price. It is convenient to use as there is an ice machine. However, the water in the shower booth in the room I stayed in did not drain well, which was inconvenient. Perhaps because it was across from the swimming pool, the dampness and musty smell were difficult to bear."
