The hotel is in walking distance of the center and people's park. They have friendly and helpful personell. The breakfast and evening buffet was delicious. There are a lot of Philippine dishes in the buffet. My room was spacious and comfortable. There is an outside pool of good size next to a bar. The problem with the pool is, that like some hotels in Asia, there is far too much chlorine inside the pool. As I was swimming there, I became problems with the skin and the lips because of too much acid caused by too much chlorine in the water.

This hotel is really good. The food was good. The staff are accommodating. When we complained about the wifi they immediately fix it. The location was good too

What an absolute nightmare!!! Upon arriving, the staff were so busy and had to get their attention to get catered! THEY DO NOT HAVE A WORKING WIFI!!! HAD TO KEEP CALLING ABOUT IT BUT IT NEVER GOT SOLVED!!! BREAKFAST WAS HORRIBLE TOO! Paid for the buffet but most of the food was empty and took forever to get replenished! We stayed for 4 nights. We Requested for an extra bed on our second night, tild the reception that I will pay for it all and she billed me for only one night(there was no mention about the amount only applies for a night) so upon check out, we got billed for 4 nights! Staff were rude and arguementative!!! NEVER AGAIN!

I booked two rooms at Apo View Hotel for my family’s Davao City day trip. A deluxe room for my parents and a superior room for my siblings, as no family rooms were available. Wasn’t able to use the other hotel amenities since the Davao City stay was short. Despite a stressful flight rescheduling (with Cebu Pacific), the hotel was a highlight! The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, with my parents loving the deluxe’s cozy vibe and my siblings enjoying the superior’s modern touches. On the booking i requested rooms around lower floors, unfortunately they refused and handed fourth floor rooms. The breakfast buffet, which I added on, was a hit with fresh fruits, adobo, and pandesal that brought the family together the morning after. Apo View hotel’s prime downtown location made exploring spots like People’s Park a breeze. I stayed here years ago and was thrilled it lived up to my memories. Will definitely book again for our next Davao adventure

the room had 2 baby roaches but was otherwise in good condition. no hot water. overall stay was good.

A Mixed Stay at Apo View Hotel: Room for Improvement I recently stayed at Apo View Hotel in Davao, booking a twin room for myself and my cousin upon arrival. Given the hotel's reputation, I had fairly high expectations, hoping for a comfortable and top-tier experience. Unfortunately, my first night left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. The amenities felt outdated, and two major issues stood out: the internet connection was very weak and laggy, and the air-conditioning in our room wasn’t working properly, making the space uncomfortably warm. After a long 24-hour journey, I was too exhausted to raise a complaint that night, but I hoped for a better experience in my second booking — a family room. Another point of concern was the service at the reception desk. Upon check-in, I stood before the staff without even being acknowledged. What was more frustrating was that another guest who arrived after me was attended to first. A simple greeting or assurance that someone would be with me shortly could’ve made all the difference in that moment. However, it wasn’t all disappointing. During my first breakfast buffet, I was pleasantly surprised by a friendly and upbeat staff member who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. His cheerful attitude truly brightened my morning and helped shift my perception of the service. I regret not getting his name, but his hospitality deserves to be recognised. In summary, while Apo View Hotel has potential, especially with its long-standing reputation, there’s certainly room for improvement in terms of guest service and room maintenance. With a few upgrades and more attentive customer care, it could provide the high-standard experience guests expect.

Apoview Hotel is okay naman, the only bad thing is the receptionist because they mixed the booking online pila sa walk in pila, so the line is getting long because it takes longer dahil sa walk in. What about the booking online, it's useless diba kasi iisa lang ang pila sa walk in .. I hope the receptionist's system will be paid attention to and changed.

Reasonably priced hotel convenient location However maybe because it was Christmas, service is lacking, obviously it lacked manpower. Generally it was good for its price.

It's nice clean hotel with friendly and efficient service. The staff offered and upgraded my booking from a family room to a twin-room without any extra charges and even went to the trouble of showing us the available option, which was remarkable
