Beautiful hotel in a great location. Our room was well appointed and clean and we slept well. Nothing on the island is far away. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was brilliant. We would go back in a heart beat.

Located not far from the beach and close to one of the woods, we preferred this location. Van der Valk is a wel known brand with a lot of value for money. Room was spacious, with a nice bathroom. All kinds of details had been thought of.

The team made our stay memorable. From the booking, checking in and having dinner, through to breakfast the next day, everyone was super friendly and helpful. Food was good, with plenty of options to have local produce. They had a big party in for dinner, but this didn’t impact on the service that was given to each and every diner. The combinations of ingredients were well presented and creatively prepared, to give good flavour and visual enjoyment. The team was helpful in making suggestions of local attractions and places to visit, as well as helping with things like ferry times etc. a thank you for making this such a lovely weekend trip.

We spent a very nice weekend, the apartment was very spacious and well equipped, the cleanliness was good. The next town (de Koog) can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes, the same applies to the beach. Bikes can be rented at the hotel or locally (cheaper).

Bij aankomst is er voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Vriendelijke ontvangst bij de receptie. Gezellig restaurant met vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijk gegeten. Mooie, grote, schone kamer met zachte bedden. Ruime, schone badkamer met heerlijke regendouche en bad. Wij hebben ons zeer welkom gevoeld en hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad. Bedankt daarvoor.

Fijn schoon hotel, rustig gelegen. Zeer goed ontbijt en diner. Vriendelijke personeel. Ruime kamers, met koelkast en koffie en theefaciliteiten. Bar is ook gezellig. Texel is een ontzettend fijn eiland om te genieten en tot rust te komen

Perfecte kamer met onze hond, op de BG en via een klein terras kun je de kamer uit. Pluspunten : dit lijkt niet op een standaard vdV hotel. Het is dan ook een vakantie-oord, en zo voelt het ook. Ontbijt ontbreekt werkelijk niets, ook het diner was top. En voor de kniesoor ... ja, we hoorden in de avond heel gedempt wel ergens geluid van een tv die wellicht te luid stond. Verder perfect verblijf gehad, dat gaan we ws vaker doen!

Fijn hotel op een rustige plek, in de buurt van het centrum van de Koog. Het personeel is vriendelijk. Wij hadden een comfort plus kamer, waar het prettig vertoeven was. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en het eten in restaurant is goed. Wij zijn hier nu 2 keer geweest en komen zeker nog eens terug!
