Best Hotels in Deauville, France

Let’s start with the positives…the rooms were well appointed. The hotel has a nice décor. The location is superb. There is an excellent convenience store/corner in the lobby with drinks, snacks and other amenities. The in-room amenities were very good. The lack of a dedicated drop-off/pick-up zone could be problematic if you aren’t lucky enough to find an open parking spot in front of the hotel. Our biggest disappointment was the very poorly designed and constructed stairs to the second floor of the family duplex room that we booked. The “stair tread” was far too shallow and the anti-slip stickers are not close enough to the edge to be fully functional. The problem with this room is that the showers are upstairs and there are two beds downstairs. So, there’s a lot of traffic going up and down. I fell one day so hard that I had three 20cm bruises on my back torso. I’m lucky that I didn’t do damage to my internal organs or break a rib. They were the worst bruises I’ve had in my adult life. The following day, my ten year-old daughter also slipped on these stairs and hurt herself. Every country and local jurisdiction has its own standards, but these stairs are really quite dangerous. Good luck trying to bring suitcases upstairs. We left ours downstairs and that severely limited the usefulness of that space. I reported the stair issue and while they listened empathetically and said they'd make a report, they didn't offer any type of effort to ease the pain, such as sending flowers, chocolates, or some other nice gesture. A better hotel would have done more than just ”make a report.” I would stay at this hotel again, but never in a Duplex Room.

Very satisfied with the newly opened hotel. Next to the sea, if you are driving by yourself, there are parking lots at the hotel and next to it. Because I went there in winter, there are not many tourists, the experience is very good, but if it is summer, it is estimated that there will be a lot of people. The hotel breakfast is on the 5th floor and the quality is very good. There are also many restaurants in the surrounding area. After all, it is winter and few are open, but if there is a chance, I will stay again.

Great location right by the marina and good access to local restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly and attentive. Parking available at cost but small car park. Maybe worth booking in advance if that’s possible. Breakfast was good selection including on one day, a hot breakfast. All food regularly replenished. Rooms well equipped and good size with good air con. Slept well in comfortable bed. Thoroughly recommend.

Firstly, we found the staff to be pleasant however this is a very poor 3 star hotel. It needs modernisation. The location is not great if you are a tourist who wants to explore the local area of Deauville because you will need your car for this. However, if your business is horses then you are right in the middle of this farming industry.

Our stay in Normandy was wonderful. The rooms are spacious ( The rooms with sea view are especially splendid!), the building itself is very impressive, the halls are unusually large - the building breathes history and has elegant ambiance. Service was very good, with concierge, valet parking, room service. We also used steaming/ironing services for a large overnight order (for wedding party) and all was done well and on time. The location is perfect, close to the beach, the center and all the shops. Also nice addition is cute bicycles available to guests to explore the city. The only issue was when a group of friends all staying in the hotel came for a late night cocktail. First we were told there were no tables (when in fact there were), then when we finally got seated there was an argument with the waiters. Not a deal breaker but unpleasant experience for a 5 star hotel. Overall I would stay here again, 100%.

If you spend the night in this city, it's a great hotel. The location is very good, the surroundings are very quiet, and there are very good restaurants nearby. If you had stayed here, you would not have chosen another hotel.

We were with our two cats that glided under the two beds From the corner of the night, at their exit they were covered with dust. One of our two cats managed to infiltre behind the wooden furniture under the washing machine When we pulled it to try to recover the animal we found that there was also dust. At first I failed to get it out. I warned the receptionist who went up, and just as I saw that under this bathroom there were a lot of cravaters and pieces of plastic tube... at the end I managed to get the cat out that was to be dust. We are regular customers of Pierre and holidays and this is the first time we have found a lack of hygiene as important.

We stayed here for 10 days in July for our family holiday & it was Fantastic. Room was large, bright, air conditioned & our daughters had the room next door. We were on the ground floor, so often sat outside together for breakfast. Rooms were well equiped, we had a jacuzzi bath & the girls had a shower so we occasionally swapped. We used the swimming pool every day, which was wonderful. The staff could not have been more kind, especially Camille who overheard me & my daughter trying to use the hotel's laptop, she helped straightaway translate things & assisted us with our technical problems as well as scan & print things, thank you Camille xx The hotel is situted perfectly to walk to bars, restaurants, shops, beach & ******. The property is literally 6 minutes walking from the railway station and 10 minutes from the beach. All other places are in and around. The housekeeping staff is impeccable, the reception staff is helpful and friendly and you can leave your valuables without a doubt. Only thing missing is mini bar and a safe, but still this hotel is worth every penny.
