Wellness Hotel Zlatá Lípa ★★★★

"The Hotel Zlata Lipa is located a short drive from downtown Decin, but has onsite parking and it was an easy drive to shops and restaurants. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the spa was amazing. A full breakfast was included in our room rate and was delicious. We also had dinner one night at the restaurant which was one of the best we had on our trip to the Czech Republic. The hotel was an excellent choice for those exploring the Bohemian Switzerland National Park and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area for hiking or if you'd just like to be pampered in the spa."

"Definitely the best place to stay all around Dečin. The have everything you need. We stayed in a bungalow. It’s got a private bathroom, a terrace as well as chairs and a table to sit outside. You can have a barbecue, a bonfire and sprnd your time outside as much as you like. The staff is really friendly and „invisible”, so you don’t feel restricted by anything. The campsite is close to a road but I don’t mind as it is also close to the city centre and the climbing wall. Many friendly people from all around the world, a playground, a bar, everyone will find something for themselves. If I am going back to Dečin I will sure stay at Kemp Dečin again. It’s clean, neat and comfortable."

"I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel. It looked clean on the surface, but the actual experience was poor. The bed and pillows had a noticeable odor, and I even found insects under the pillow. When I lifted the pillow, a small black bug scurried out, which was really unpleasant. Additionally, the room was poorly soundproofed; I could clearly hear noise from the gym downstairs, especially a sound like the bed frame vibrating, which greatly disturbed my rest. The only thing I found decent was the breakfast; it was varied and relatively well-prepared, which was the only satisfactory aspect of my stay. Aside from that, neither the ambiance nor the service met my expectations."

"Location is good, with their own restaurant just beside the hotel. They have their own hot pool and sauna room which is good. The restaurant food and service is definitely great."

"This is probably the "first place on the square" - in any case, it is centrally located on the main square. Unfortunately, as with some larger hotels in the Czech Republic, the staff do not seem very motivated - poor pay? Or just bad management? Who knows. The rooms and furnishings are pretty plain, but OK. The rooms facing the market square are not very quiet, of course. - Breakfast is in a windowless room that was very loud. But that wasn't so bad, because the food on offer was so uninteresting and uninspiring that we finished very quickly."
