First I chose this place because I was working nearby. It's about 20 minutes walk from the beach. There is a large shopping supermarket and restaurant area around, which is quite convenient. The exterior of the hotel is very similar to that of American dramas in the 1990s, with standard American-style luxury garden views and an artistic atmosphere in the lobby. The room I lived in was a garden-view room with a balcony. Because it was on the first floor, it was cool under the two big trees at the door. Facing the swimming pool, of course the United States is a hotel with a swimming pool. I like this small balcony, it's cool and cozy, it's still very comfortable to read books, listen to music and drink tea in the afternoon. This room service is still good, the dishes are delicious & # 128523; (than another Del Mar Hotel). The room is very large, 30 square meters, and the equipment is good. At least a coffee machine, a refrigerator, (many hotels don't have it). In addition, the bathrooms are also very large, much larger than those in New York. Wet and dry separately. The service staff are very friendly! The only flaws are: 1. The musty smell is too big, one is the carpet, and the other is the shower curtain of the toilet has a bad smell! Every time I enter the door, there is a smell of smelly socks! & # 128534; & # 128534 ;. 2. The waiter's bed was clean and clean, but did not clean the table, did not suck the floor, still feel dirty, service is not like the standard of a five-star hotel! All in all, the four hotels near the San Diego Del Mar I have stayed in are relatively satisfactory!

I cannot tell you how Barbara, one of the managers here was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond in customer service. When I got to the airport, I had realized that I LOST my wedding ring. I looked everywhere for it, I had called the hotel and Barbara answered, knew who I was when just checking out 20 minutes before and runs in and finds the ring and says. ”The ring is in my hand, I am keeping it in a safe deposit box until you know how to get it back to Dallas” - I was so relieved and she got the ring, and took it to FedEx to have it sent back and she was in communication with me until the ring was back in my possession. Cannot say enough good things about. her, truly in for her customers and an absolute life saver! Not sure if anyone reads these... but she deserves a raise. We had a great experience and absolutely will be coming back. I will be there every quarter or so. Thank you Barbara!

The location is very good, there are many restaurants nearby, there is a Chinese restaurant diagonally opposite, and the business is very good. zel's western food is also good. Walk from different directions to the beach for 3 minutes to 10 minutes, the seaside path is very beautiful. No breakfast. The room is small, the bathroom is small, and the sanitation work is average. Those who are obsessed with cleanliness prepare disinfection tools and clean them by themselves. The owner is very nice and has 3 cute puppies. If you want to drink hot water, you can ask him for a hot pot.

The grounds were beautiful and well kept, our room was a great size and bathroom was spotless. The girls were the front desk were nice as well! We just had some encounters we did not appreciate. A moment after we drove up and I had just got off our truck to grab my purse and suitcase, we were already approached and told to move our vehicle for valet. No big deal, just a tad inconvenient. We just had to bring our truck around a second time to unload. The next morning at breakfast I wanted to sit in a certain area because all the other tables were dirty, then was told by management to leave that area. When I told them them if we can clean the tables, they told us sit at another table that had prints all over it. The waiter was nice however. I was also in line waiting to turn in my room key around 15 minutes and another customer cut me off right when I was about to be attended, turned around and just told me ”he just had to”, and no one said anything regarding that encounter. I understand some things are beyond the workers control as I have also worked in customer service. However, these encounters made me feel like I did not receive equal respect or consideration as other high-paying guests. Considering this hotel was quite pricey already. Parking was an additional $33 per night and we bought 5 waterbottles for $26 in the lobby store while other customers with Hilton loyalty were given 2 free bottles. This is not directed directly towards any employees, I just think all this has to do more with the Hilton Hotel name. I have had much better experiences at cheaper hotels. This was just an example of how famous names don't mean much when you charge us for the most miniscule amenities that should just come with the pricey room fee. That is common courtesy. Not impressed. If I could rate your ambience, it would get one star. Stay here only if you are into golfing and have money to throw away.
