Excellent location and service. Also found a cute farmer's restaurant nearby, and it's surrounded by Wushu schools, so you can sometimes hear the rigorous training! Very cool :)

Not far from Shaolin or the long distance bus station. Good breakfast options, attentive service. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I return to the area.

The hotel is on the edge of town, and is no longer modern but is big and absolutely fine for this price point. The breakfast was modest.

Very friendly and helpful staff. One person spoke some English which made things a little easier for me. It's a quick taxi ride to Songshan. It's not really in a location to walk to places so I think it's best if you have your own car. The taxi driver and 'other' drivers do like to overcharge tourists. Getting off at the bus station and being harassed by drivers was unpleasant and gave Dengfeng a bad feeling. There is no train so unless you have a car, you'll also have this unpleasant experience. Dengfeng is quite nice just the welcome is unfortunate. The hotel staff were wonderful, and the room was spacious. I loved the little table by the window, very pleasant. The restaurant across from the parking lot has tasty food and very reasonable priced.

The room is really average, the breakfast is also average, the facilities are relatively old, there are no disposable slippers, and the quality of the slippers requested at the front desk is extremely poor. There is a large protruding corner in the shower room, making it difficult to turn around. The advantage is that the yard is relatively large, parking is convenient, and it is convenient to go to Shaolin Temple.

There is a free room upgrade policy for reservations. The staff found it troublesome and told me that the room I stayed in was the best room. The overall situation was super bad. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
