Room was clean and the view was just as nice as expected. English skills of the employees are very limited but communication works out as everyone was doing their best :-)
When you have an issue like 4 people will try to take care of it. The A/C on our room didn't work (the fridge also didn't work) and the employees and ourself spent like 1-2h in total but haven't been able to fix it. The next day they tried again and in the end we changed the room.
Gym is great but external I guess so you have to bring your own towel otherwise they charge 20 RMB (but in China nobody uses towels anyway).
It also closes at 08:30pm which is a pity.
Breakfast is okay but ends at 09:30am which is pretty early as well o.O
You can walk to Zhongyue temple, there are small restaurants around and the view is great so we liked the location.
The best aspect of the hotel is the friendly employees.

As the location of the hotel is kind of remote, we can only stay in the hotel for dinner. The waitress was enthusiastic in helping us to select food from the menu, and also allowed us to make changes even after she placed the order. Selection of breakfast buffet is many. I have no other stay experience to comment on other than these two dining experiences.

The hotel is far from Shaolin Temple and needs to go through a tunnel. The hotel service staff is average, not like the standard of a five-star hotel. The environment is good and there are many foreign tourists. However, when booking the room, I wrote that I needed a quiet room, but the hotel still arranged a room facing the road. This stay was great. I give a thumbs up to the service. Liu Shuya at the front desk patiently answered questions, arranged rooms with good locations, and recommended local meals. The hotel is easy to find and has a large parking lot. The room is spacious and there is a large balcony with a wide view of the mountain. The experience is good.
